It's not like Floyd doesn't work hard though. He puts in work too, he just doesn't drink urine.

As it stands ; Floyd needs Manny more than Manny needs Floyd.

And if Pacquiao/Cotto sales numbers do better than Mayweather/Marquez sales numbers it will flush all that bull**** about Floyd being the "draw" right down the toilet.
Legacy wise yea...but Floyd always has the option of fighting Berto or Mosley...

While Pac rematches Marquez or fights...Bradley? Unless he's gonna stay at 147...

Floyd decided to move up in weight and fight bigger guys while Pac and JMM were still trading fist with the little guys. No one jumps from LHW to HW and goes str8 for Tyson "hypothetically". Those powder puffs you speak of were expected to k.o Floyd by many.

Hatton was a skilled boxer two years ago and Dela hoya was too big for Mayweather. Still Floyd pulls off the win and loses. Frankly I would talk **** too. Every smile doesn't get the De la Hoya treatment, but there's money in being the bad guy.....Now that doesn't make me a bad guy.

This isn't WWE but they've got a hell of a ticket selling strategy.

Legacy wise is exactly what I'm talking about.

Berto? Nobody is even taking that kid seriously. I'd pick Judah, Quintana, Mosley, Clottey, Williams (if he was interested), and a number of others to beat his ass.

I know you like him but to me, he's just an HBO hype job who needs to step up his level of competition.

And I wouldn't be shocked at all if after Pacquiao beats Cotto (which he will), he steps in and challenges Mosley afterwards.

That would really jerk the carpet out from under Floyd.

Who the hell could he possibly face that anybody would care about if Manny beats Cotto and wants Shane?

I'd literally laugh my ass off if he did that.

Pacquiao has 3 divisions of fighters clamoring to fight him. mr.counterfeit cash already said no to mosley, before pac vs cotto was made pac vs shane was all the talk.

Put yourself in any fighter from 135 to 147's position. Who would you rather face Pacquiao or mr.counterfeit cash?

I would choose the famous smallish boxer who likes to brawl over the bigger famous boxer who is a defensive specialist.

Floyd never seems to be in any rush to fight any of them. JMM is great but its another cherrypicked fight because he had to make so many sacrifices to make the fight.
There was little money in those fights. Don't hit me with the money doesn't matter bull**** either because it does especially when you have kids and make a living in a proffesion where few fighter shine over the age of 35.

Whooo !!! Talkin about an early retirement plan for real !!!

and like I said before when your moving up in weight as was Floyd there is nothing wrong with testing the waters. You act like he always been at 147-154.

News Flash not long ago Floyd was a little guy too

The love JMM is getting on here is really encouraging.
He deserves every oz of it.

                    Floyd deserves nothing.

1.) I'll bet you on either Berto/Judah or Berto/Quintana if the time ever comes.

2.) If Pacquiao beats Cotto and then eyes Mosley, Floyd could sit back and wait for the winner but if the winner was Pacquiao, he wouldn't be getting **** from it. Because like I said ; that fight is a no go until Floyd checks his ego.

3.) I doubt he'd face Cotto if he loses to Pacquiao like I expect. First off he'd have "two losses", and we all know how Floyd feels whenever anybody has one or more of those. Secondly, he'd probably just say he wasn't a "draw", and that nobody knew who he was, or that he was Pac's *****.

He seriously needs to check his ego before Manny starts thinking about fighting Mosley.

That would literally kill any big plans for his comeback right there.

And Pacquiao could retire after those 2 wins (cotto and Mosley, assuming he does win) and his legacy would piss all over Mayweather's and he wouldn't even have to fight him to do it.
