If JMM loses, it will shatter my idealism.

1.) I'll bet you on either Berto/Judah or Berto/Quintana if the time ever comes.
2.) If Pacquiao beats Cotto and then eyes Mosley, Floyd could sit back and wait for the winner but if the winner was Pacquiao, he wouldn't be getting **** from it. Because like I said ; that fight is a no go until Floyd checks his ego.
3.) I doubt he'd face Cotto if he loses to Pacquiao like I expect. First off he'd have "two losses", and we all know how Floyd feels whenever anybody has one or more of those. Secondly, he'd probably just say he wasn't a "draw", and that nobody knew who he was, or that he was Pac's *****.
He seriously needs to check his ego before Manny starts thinking about fighting Mosley.
That would literally kill any big plans for his comeback right there.
And Pacquiao could retire after those 2 wins (cotto and Mosley, assuming he does win) and his legacy would piss all over Mayweather's and he wouldn't even have to fight him to do it.Quintana would be in there though...
2. At that point he would have to fight Cotto, Berto, or make the biggest fight in the sport with Pacquiao...we know wat the logical choice would be...
3. Man that's just BS...Baldomir and Judah had losses...so did DLH...he only brought that up cuz he had no answer for not fighting Shane in that interview...Comment

His "hard work ethic, strength of character, morality and sportsmanship" is gonna pay off as soon as he receives that 7 digit check...What do you think Marquez is? He's getting the biggest pay check of his life, he is a prize fighter and i'm sure as hell that Marquez believes that all his hard work is literally paying off with this fight.
Mayweather is giving Marquez not only the spotlight, but also a big fat pay check. Mayweather himself said he can relate to Marquez in that he too was kept in the shadows. Floyd feels Marquez deserves this match because of all his hard work and all the robberies he has gone through.
Win or loss, Marquez is probably already grateful that he got this far in his career. All boxers dream of one day making millions of dollars and getting the chance to fight the best fighter of their time. He'll be able to say he did it twice, Pacquiao and Mayweather.Comment

There was little money in those fights. Don't hit me with the money doesn't matter bull**** either because it does especially when you have kids and make a living in a proffesion where few fighter shine over the age of 35.
Whooo !!! Talkin about an early retirement plan for real !!!
and like I said before when your moving up in weight as was Floyd there is nothing wrong with testing the waters. You act like he always been at 147-154.
News Flash not long ago Floyd was a little guy too
And even if he was as rich as the Rothchilds, it wouldn't buy him a legacy.Comment

While Floyd was *****footing around for 5 years at 40 and 47, JMM was fighting real fights.
GTFO w/ this pity bull****.Comment

1. I'll be glad to take your points...c'mon now Judah?Quintana would be in there though...

2.) You think he'd finally step away form the ego to agree to a 50/50 split? Hell, if Pac beat Cotto and Mosley he might have to accept 60/40.
3.) It was also part of the reason he wouldn't face Margarito. Like it or not, he does make light of any possible opponet's losses an awful lot. Even Pacquiao. (He got outboxed by Erik Morales and KO'd by 2 bums 10 years ago!)Comment

1.) I refuse to believe Zab isn't still a dangerous opponet.

2. If he's smart he'd realize he'd make more fighting Pac than fighting Cotto or Mosley...
3. Nah he aint fight Margarito cuz Tony was under Top Rank...add in the fact no one knew who the hell he was...
And he went from disrespecting Pacquiao to being open to a fight with him...although he believes he should get more $Comment

You have no evidence that Floyd is any less deserving of the win.Comment

Do you not see what an embarrassment Floyd is to the sport and to self respecting black folks everywhere who have to try and justify his pathetic behavior to people?Comment
