If JMM loses, it will shatter my idealism.

What is so mythical about Floyd ? He's a great fighter who won a lot of fights that doesn't mean he indestructible.
Give the guy a break JMM may not be the one to beat him but as long as he keeps boxing somebodies bound to defeat him, same goes for Calzaghe as it did for RJJ.
If you don't like a guys personality it's understandable but I consider it MARKETING. On the other hand if you love TECHNICAL EFFICIENCY wtf is there not to like.
When it all boils down it doesn't matter who wins or loses what matters is that the fight takes place. Nobody feels Floyd can't be beat but some just feel the need to see him get beat their is nothing wrong with having a favorite fighter but to lay the fate of humanity on a fight is rediculous.
Floyd ain't no Hitler !!!
"PBF" wasn't PPV worthy in the eyes of many boxing fans but "Money" has a Hilter type effect on people. The question is are you a BOXING FAN or PEOPLE FAN aka (nutthugger, fanboy, groupie)?
Interviews mean little to a true student of the game, however when fist do the talking champions are bred (not born).
I was rooting for Money before but my appreciation for JMM made it to where i just wanted to see the best man win, now I want Floyd to shut people up.
Even if Floyd wins after a two year layoff he will get no credit. All you fanboys will do is make daily hate threads about a size disadvantage neglecting the fact that Floyd was the same size a JMM not long ago. Floyd just chose to move up in weight before JMM or Pac did.

To his credit, nobody, except the Vivian Harris that got KTFO in his next fight, wanted it with him at 140. Hatton and his team had just gotten the title and didn't want it (lack of confidence) and Cotto and his team didn't want it (too green).Comment

He could have fought anyone, but in truth I don't really remember off the top of my head who was ranked where at 140 during that time.Comment

Who wouldn't want the fight, sure there is a good chance of being humiliated but why not take the fight what else are you in the sport for but to be the best and make the most money?

Gatti was the WBC champion, that doesn't matter? DeMarcus Corley was the eliminator for that title...
Floyd can't make imaginary great fighters pop up in a division...Comment

Doubt it.
We all know Mayweather won't budge on getting the bigger split of the purse, and Arum said he doesn't want the headache ot trying to make that fight happen because he knows Floyd's stubborn attitude will halt any discussion before it even gets off the ground.
As it stands ; Floyd needs Manny more than Manny needs Floyd.
And if Pacquiao/Cotto sales numbers do better than Mayweather/Marquez sales numbers it will flush all that bull**** about Floyd being the "draw" right down the toilet.Comment
