If you don't think Usyk v Joshua and Fury v Whyte are fights that matter then I don't know what kind of boxing fan that would make you. Even 'casual' would understate it. What do you call someone who only thinks undisputed fights matter?

Let's not forget that the last time we were talking about Undisputed it was Joshua making the running and Fury who had the division on hold for a rematch (after a completely dominant win and stoppage) that he could have already got out of the way if he hadn't spent more time in his lawyer's office than the boxing ring.

Usyk signed up for a rematch clause. Povetkin signed up for a rematch clause and Whyte is again the interim champion. It doesn't really matter whether you think they deserve it - they just do.

Usyk nearly stopped Joshua? You mean in the final few seconds when Joshua was smiling on the ropes? Usyk was a very deserved winner, but again you can't help but exaggerate. Actually these matchroom fighters held up the progression of the division in rematches . AJ arguably swerved an undisputed match but opted for some Miller guy..Whyte who's been wbc#1 never enforced a mando..wonder why?? Matchroom appeared terrified of Wilder.
