Canelo is clearly anti-GBP with the exception of Ryan
And Ryan is hanging on by a thread! Canelo not too happy with him lately!

Especially if Thurman loses! That's why I'm rooting for a Barrios victory! Want to see Crawford fight Boots or Vergil!

No one should have to whisper to Rashidi Ellis! He should already know it's time to go! At the least, Ellis should've been an option to fight Conor Benn! on DAZN!

Mckinson has no chance of winning on paper.
I'd agree it's a step back in levels for Ortiz.

Ortiz cuts the ring well and has fast hands - even if he connects with glancing blows that should slow M down.

I see Thurman struggling in this - too inactive and too injury prone. Lets not forget that Pac was only 50% of what he was at his peak when they fought - Thurman has looked bad for years now + all that inactivity.

Was he ever in the conversation with Reynosos to train with them?

Yes, Mckinson has won some tertiary titles, Vergil's last fight was against a title challenger Kavaliauskas and previously before that he beat former titlist Maurice Hooker

I like it IMO Robles is a better fit for Vergil's fighting style then Reynoso. He left Robert Garcia because his stable is too large and he doesn't have the time to give Ortiz. Multiple occasions Garcia didn't show up on fight night and Ortiz's dad had step up as head trainer in his corner. If you want more 1 on 1 attention Reynoso stable is getting very large and everyone will take a backseat to Canelo. Robles does well with aggressive punchers and will make sure he shows up to Vergil's fights.

Ugh. Manny Robles is the same guy that got Oscar Valdez' jaw broken with his no defense, face first style.

Big step backwards from Robert Garcia in my opinion. Eddy Reynoso would have been a much better choice.
