Thats what they said when he fought Sulecki too... Then Andrade destroys him and everyone says Sulecki was nothing (Yet he gave Jacobs one hell of a fight) They also said Liam Williams was going to beat him... and he got dropped like everyone else... Andrade has NOTHING to benefit from fighting a guy with 11 fights!!! NOBODY CARES Just like nobody will care when he fights the next guy but what you don't know is that they have promised Andrade that he can fight Benevides right after the 168 mandatory if he beats Parker and Benevides beats Lemieux... Andrade has been trying to fight a relevant person for over 7 years and Zhanibek ain't it

Alphabet rankings mean crap all, who has he fought to be considered as one of the best? His resume looks like Andrade's but yet he's getting hyped when the same people crap all over Demetrius. And I'm not even an Andrade fan, I just find it funny people aren't applying the same logic to both guys. Especially when Zhanibek is 11 fights into his pro career. Good fighter, but the hype around this dude just isn't warranted
You’d rather see Andrade fight Zach Parker instead? Really?
I’m not saying Zhanibek is an elite fighter or anything like that but he’s a legitimate top 10 middleweight which a damn sight better than the vast majority of Andrade’s resume. Andrade has no problem defending the belt vs Keeler, Quigley etc yet the moment he has a mandatory we feel would be competitive he’s running away.
This fight is #3 vs #6 with Ring, #3 vs #6 with TBRB and #3 vs #7 with ESPN. It’s a good matchup and I actually think Andrade can beat Zhanibek too but he clearly doesn’t want that smoke. It’s massively hypocritical from a guy who claims “everyone is avoiding him”.

He’s #6 with Ring and TBRB, they’re easily the most legitimate ratings there are. His stoppage win over Brant is arguably a better win than anything Andrade has at 160 too.

I agree in that if he's faced the Quigleys and Keelers of the world then he should have no problem facing Zhanibek, but the narrative being painted as if he's rolling through killers and Andrade is afraid of him is nonsense. If Andrade beats him he beat a good fighter who only has 11 pro fights (decorated amateur with a gold medal) and the narrative will switch from him being a killer to "Andrade was supposed to win, this guy didn't have experience."Comment

Nope, Andrade vs Parker is a trash fight in my opinion. My contention is that people are building Zhanibek up as this monster whom Andrade is avoiding when he hasn't done anything to warrant such praise. I mean just look at the comments, and I'm not even talking about just here but on other platforms as well. I've seen the young guy fight but I must be missing something cause people are building him up like a prime GGG and the guy has 11 fights with his best win coming against a one dimensional Brant (and that's not even just me saying it, Bradley and Ward were saying it during the fight if I recall correctly).

If Andrade doesn't fight his mandatory Zhanibek and moves up, I want people to keep that same energy for hatin on Canelo sayin he was duckin Andrade. All these dude need to make there own path instead of fightin BUMS waiting on a Canelo golden ticket.Comment
