Eddie has no connections in Australia but he has Saudi Arabia connections & he will overpay Kambosos & underpay Haney to make the fight in the Middle East its up to Kambosos to accept but he's been steadfast in saying he wants a big fight in his home country Australia.Comment

If I was Team Kambosos I would sign with Eddie Hearn and DAZN. They will give him a better offer than Bob Arum and ESPN. If Bob Arum constantly moans and bitches about paying his own fighters like Terence Crawford and Teofimo Lopez then what makes one think that he is even remotely willing to over pay George Kambosos, Jr for his services?Comment

I agree with this, G.K should make a voluntary on his home turf, it will sell well and be a extra solid paycheck. Haney and Loma are tough tough fights and as said earlier IF he loses, aint no one going to be interested in facing GK thereafter, may as well make the most money out this reign as theres no easy fights in the divisionComment

DAZN and, therefore, Matchroom, don't have the money that they used to have. Various restricting and budgeting has been going on this last year. Why do you think Haney only made a million in his last fight? The only way Hearn and DAZN can pull this fight off is if it occurs in the Middle East with the site fee. Otherwise, it's a no-go. You need to also understand that ESPN (meaning Disney) is willing to go into the coffers to make this fight happen. You take that and Top Rank's infrastructure in Australia, and you really have little hope for Haney making this fight happen, despite what's being reported.
Lomachenko is a much riskier fight than the Devin Haney one. So is ESPN willing to shell out that kind of bread for a fight that nobody is going to watch here in the states way in a distant land? I don't know; Perhaps they are willing but only time will reveal.Comment

If Disney does decide to take this fight then they can expect a huge L because Vasiliy Lomachenko is not a mainstream pay per view draw stateside. Kambosos is going to want at least a minimum of $10M to fight Loma in his home country of Australia.

Then why has he never done a pay-pay-per view card in his career? I'll tell you why it's because it's stems from a lack of demand.Comment
