Eddie has no connections in Australia but he has Saudi Arabia connections & he will overpay Kambosos & underpay Haney to make the fight in the Middle East its up to Kambosos to accept but he's been steadfast in saying he wants a big fight in his home country Australia.

DAZN and, therefore, Matchroom, don't have the money that they used to have. Various restricting and budgeting has been going on this last year. Why do you think Haney only made a million in his last fight? The only way Hearn and DAZN can pull this fight off is if it occurs in the Middle East with the site fee. Otherwise, it's a no-go. You need to also understand that ESPN (meaning Disney) is willing to go into the coffers to make this fight happen. You take that and Top Rank's infrastructure in Australia, and you really have little hope for Haney making this fight happen, despite what's being reported.

That definitely would be the smart thing to do. I have really been expecting this to be the likely outcome, but Kambosos is dead set on fighting a mega fight in Australia. He's going to go for broke fighting either Haney or Loma. I really do believe he'll fight Loma instead of Haney, even though he has a better chance of beating Haney than he does beating Loma. I'm not saying he beats Haney, just that he's got a better shot at beating Haney based on his skillset and style. I have to commend George on his confidence.

If Disney does decide to take this fight then they can expect a huge L because Vasiliy Lomachenko is not a mainstream pay per view draw stateside. Kambosos is going to want at least a minimum of $10M to fight Loma in his home country of Australia.

Lomachenko is a much riskier fight than the Devin Haney one. So is ESPN willing to shell out that kind of bread for a fight that nobody is going to watch here in the states way in a distant land? I don't know; Perhaps they are willing but only time will reveal.

Everyone knows who Loma is, thanks to HBO. After the Rigondeaux fight, he got a lot of momentum. According to all the polls, people are more willing to pay for the Loma fight than the Haney fight.

Then why has he never done a pay-pay-per view card in his career? I'll tell you why it's because it's stems from a lack of demand.

Loma vs Campbell was a PPV fight. And Loma vs Teofimo was supposed to be a PPV but because of the lockdown and no fans allowed at that time, it was on regular TV. But it was supposed to be another PPV fight for Loma.
