That wouldn't be the smartest thing for him to do.

Wrong, I predict pacman going backwards/sidewards for the fight, not pushing forward and landing his jab and a sneaky left or right to follow up with...

I think the fight will eventually turn into a slug fest, especially if Cotto finds out he take Pac shots. Though I'm going for Cotto, Pac would slug, he's fearless. Plus, I think he likes alot of action anyway.

This is just a boxing stradergy, they want Cotto to start strong so he can gas out and then Manny will try to break Cotto apart at the end. I'm sure the plan is to take Cotto into deep waters and then finish him off. In the first six rounds Cotto has always been strong its at the end where he falls apart. It happened with Mosley, Margarito and Clottey its possible he gets tired again.

The article doesnt make any mention of any gameplan whatsoever. But Pacquiao has the right mindset. Cotto's gameplan is to cut off the ring and pressure Pac. Pac NEEDS to be able to push Cotto back to win.

If Cotto gets pushed back then he's being thrown off his gameplan. There is no plan B to beat Pacquiao. Simple as that.
