Gonzalez will block, parry and then accurately counter, I think that will sap Martinez’s energy and enthusiasm. Martinez is a very talented fighter but he’s never been in there with guy who can push him backwards, hurt him and consistently land shots on him like Gonzalez can.

Really good matchup though, kudos to DAZN for rescuing this card after Estrada pulled out.
Great matchup I agree and Choco deserves all the credit in the world for accepting such a challenging replacement. I just think the old legend is biting off more than he can chew here. This is Martinez's "moment". Reminds me of Max Kellerman's "I'd hate to be the guy standing on the other side of the ring when Antonio Margarito says this is my time, I've made it" quote before Cotto-Margarito 1.

I also think we're going to see a more energetic Martinez up at 115. Most his fights especially early in his career have been north of 112.

I don’t think Martinez has enough dimensions to beat Gonzalez. This isn’t an old Arroyo, Jay Harris, Caballero etc. It’s a massive step up in class.

Wow! Not sure what to think. In any other scenario what a great matchup. Props big time to Gonzalas for accepting this. I just can't see taking a fight against the likes of Martinez without having a full camp to prepare for that wrecking ball. Being as it may, really looking forward to it!

At 34, González is ancient by Super Flyweight standards. Martinez could possibly catch him and ruin any hope of a 3rd Estrada-Gonzalez fight.

I was gutted to see Estrada and Rungvisai pull out of these DAZN cards; the superfly fights between these guys are always good. But i think they've done a good job salvaging the cards, Martinez and Rodriguez make interesting opponents.
