False here is his exact quote “GGG spending the past few years handpicking and being inactive, even turning down the Canelo trilogy.”

So either you purposely chose to skip over that part or option B, (which is the most probable option as Canelo fans have proven to be extremely uneducated) you’re a fooking ret@rd with very little grasp of the English language.

Disappeared lol? After beating GGG, he's gone on to become fighter of the year in 2 of the past 3 years while GGG fell off the map from his handpicking and inactivity-- and yes, even turning down the trilogy as the B side coming off the loss saying they'd rather fight a TBA. When GGG signed his multi fight DAZN contract I accurately predicted he'd try to milk it taking easy fights-- feasting on lower tier guys is his comfort zone.

I knew he was working on a "comeback" or talking about it ect. but looking it up hes like on his 4th comeback fight after a 6 year gap and fighting tomorrow against some scrub on a Thursday night.

I dont see the point, he was shot against Cotto and that was 8 freaking years ago. He was wearing knee supports that fight and could barely walk much less maneuver around the ring, that fight should have been cancelled/rescheduled. It was only made for everyone's financial benefit because cotto's claim to the middleweight lineal title comes from him beating a guy the fans saw could barely walk. I guess sergio and his team decided to cash out rather than reschedule it and wait for his knees to heal.

disappeared meaning he wanted nothing to do with Ggg when they tried to fight him again. You have to grasp the concept of what he’s saying before you disagree with it. Next time stick to the topic of the article being discussed and limit the weird fandom.

I have to grasp the concept of what GGG is saying ha? His team straight up said they'd rather be fighting stiffs.

And it's comical for them to complain about not receiving the offer on their terms like they're the ones with leverage. Not to mention the hypocrisy from GGG who on his end refused mention Derevyanchenko's name again after their first fight unlike Canelo who went the extra mile by giving GGG an inflated co-A side split to convince him to get back in the ring with him-- and even after beating him at his own game (and achieving p4p status by taking risks he never would), still circled back and offered GGG another crack only to have him decline again.

Bottom line: GGG is a guy who won't give rematches when he's the A side and even refuses rematch offers when he's the B side coming off the loss-- and yet he's always eager to fight stiffs. Talk about misguided fandom.

so you want to take ggg’s team word for it when it fits your narrative and post the link to the article, but when a quote from that same article that you posted is brought to your attention, you want to dismiss it because you don’t like what they’re saying? Ok bozo. For me , I don’t care to see them fight again at this point but I would’ve assumed that Canelo would’ve liked to have cleared up the controversy with a definitive win instead of taking his questionable win and moving on. But hey, that’s what I think as a boxing fan. You clearly have a different perspective as a Canelo groupie which is obvious by your weirdo choice to post about ggg and Canelo in a Sergio Martinez article.

With good knees i think he would've beat Cotto. He was really weird in that fight and i remember he couldn't even run or maybe do some proper sparring in his training.

I dunno if Sergio's low on money but otherwise he don't need to risk his health.

GGG fans have all the time in the world to come up with narratives about his weak resume but can't tolerate someone bringing up his complete hypocrisy as well as complacency. There was another article about Martinez's return in which he mentioned the possibility of fighting GGG, and just I said, GGG fans were all over it hypocritically complaining about him fighting for bigger retirement pay vs Cotto back in the day (even though Loeffler himself said the fight was never presented to him and their schedules hadn't lined up)--and yet, their hero is out here handpicking completely by choice. GGG fans even tried to claim he was handpicking because he's holding out for Canelo, when again, his team is on record saying they declined it. GGG's "weirdo groupies" put him on some pedestal with their narratives when he point blank didn't take the same career risks as the guys they try to criticize.

why are you commenting on a post that’s nearly a month old out of the blue ya weirdo? On top of that, you don’t even have the decency to make it a coherent post. Get your thoughts together, learn how to write a proper paragraph, use periods every now and then and maybe I’ll entertain dismantling whatever point it is that you’re attempting to make.

Not everyone is a forum troll who posts a dozen times a day like you. Your grammar is all over the place, but you're trying to deflect and complain about punctuation lol? I've been waiting for you to make a valid argument all this time, but all you have to offer are the same tired narratives and double standards that his fans have been spewing for years. They didn't hold up to scrutiny then and they definitely don't now.
