Thank you very much Mr Lyle Fitzsimmons for writing such an original, thoughtful, and provocative article about improvements which could be made to the current set-up re Boxing Organisations that award Championship Belts. I agree change is very much needed - because the current arrangements are without any sensible rationale and the current irrational structure is preventing the best matches being made - namely those between the best fighters. The current situation is Chaos Reigns, Confusion Results, Matches between the best fighters often don't happen, the Fans suffer, and the Professional Boxing Business looks greedy, ***********al, and absurd. I congratulate you on having the Nous to recognise and understand the problem, and the courage to publish your thoughts about it - which will no doubt infuriate the vested interests in the boxing business making money out of the current arrangements. I also think your IMHO Organisation idea and how it should operate are brilliant openers for a much needed and very overdue discussion about the issue. I'm sceptical how much things will change - at least not quickly - but I think your article will set in motion a certain amount of recognition of the need for change and a desire for change and if it gains enough momentum change will eventually come. It is therefore a very important contribution. It is high-level writing like yours which IMO make Boxing Scene the premier Boxing website on the internet. Thanks to you and your colleagues for the great work you do.

Note to the writer: You could have just started with, "he's ranked 255" at Boxing Rec. Anything after that is just fluff.
