I should've added that I think its a tie between LW/Ww/& then LHW,but I also think Lhw looks better just because Canelos fighting near that weight & it makes it seem better as you have 3 guys who nobody knows whos for sure better & the cashcow usually the tide that raises all ships, but having to choose just 1 I'd say Ww based on the 4 mini kings.(Ortiz,Boots,Spence,Bud)
What do you think?Last edited by kushking; 01-23-2022, 06:13 PM.

The Heavyweight Division in terms of competition, match ups and rivalries is the best division.
No other division in the game today, sparks such a strong reaction from EVERYONE in boxing.
The Welter-Weight Divisions are not as good as to when Floyd Mayweather was fighting, but they are probably still second best behind the Heavyweight Division.
Middle-Weight Divisions are in third place for me.

I'm trying to figure out how you arrived at that conclusion though,Wilders likely done,Furys looking lazy,AJ getting washed,Usyk looking good,& then a few contenders who haven't stood apart yet.

If Wilder is done? So what, if Fury is looking lazy? Then he is looking lazy.
The heavyweight division from top to bottom is highly competitive. All the top elite level fighters are beatable, and can beat each other.
Ultimately for me, this is what makes it the best division currently right now. Tyson Fury once upon a time, their may have been some distance between him and his fellow competitors 'But Kronk Fury, is not peak Fury so that makes things extra interesting'.
Joshua vs Uysk will be the biggest fight of the year when it gets made. Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte, will have boxing fans engrossed during the build up 'This forums will be embroiled with strong reactions, debates, and passion'.
There are just far too many interesting match ups, that can be made in the division. And 80% of those match ups, don't even have to involve the Champions in the division.
Understand that, I am aware that in terms of boxing ability 'This era of heavyweights is not great, but that is not why I have chosen this division'.

The division cash cows are in aren't always overrated. In 2011, I don't think anybody thought 147 was a great division. The best welterweights were Mayweather, Pacquiao, Berto, old Mosley and Senchenko.
But cash cows tend to attract the best talent around a division. So the best fighters at 140 will move up to 147 to get a shot at the king. 147 was weak, but then Bradley, Khan, Ortiz, Alexander, Maidana, Matthysse, Peterson, etc will move up to get a shot at Mayweather and Pacquiiao.

Super Flyweight:
Juan Francisco Estrada (c)
Top 10:
Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez
Srisaket Sor Rungvisai
Carlos Cuadras
Donnie Nietes
Kazuto Ioka
Jerwin Ancajas
Francisco Rodriguez
Andrew Moloney
Kosei Tanaka
Joshua Franco
Find me a better champion+top 10 (not that those are the exact order those names should be in, but definitely the top 10 guys in the division)

The best division has to be one not only packed with talented fighters, but packed with talented fighters actually willing to fight each other
so that discards WW and HW, where most of the top guys are constantly looking for bs excuses to not fight each other (Usyk's the exception, not the rule)
It's even worse at LHW and CW, with none of the ****ing belt holders trying to unify at all.
Guess they'll only be interested in doing it if Canelo moves up to their divisions, like those chumps at SMW did
So in short, probably Super Flyweight, or whatever division Canelo is fighting on, are the best divisions in boxing
