He ran into the preeminent seek, and destroy machine in the sport of boxing at this point in time.
There was no way that Petros was going to escape from this long awaited beat down, Subriel couldn't wait to unleash his wrath on him.
That said Subriel's confidence might just be his undoing, he throws caution to the winds in an all out effort to knock his opponent out.
He has to tighten up his defense, utilize head and foot movement in order to slip, slide, duck, and block as much of whats thrown at him as possible.
You have to protect yourself at all times in order to prolong your career in this which is the most brutal of all sports.
I can't tell you how much I appreciate you introducing me to Browny! He's a pleasure to watch! I wish we could see him fight the winner of Ramirez vs. Pedraza! Either one would be an outstanding fight! Anyway. Jeremias Ponce would put him in line for a title shot in 2022! Can't wait!

Jukembayev buzzed him hard in their fight. Let's see how good his chin is against the best. Beats any 140lber right now? Mmmm I don't see him beating Taylor or Prograis. But fortunately for Matias he won't have to worry about Taylor as he's going to 147. Taylor and Prograis have the 2 best chins in the division. You didn't mention the quality of Matias defensive skillset. I just leave it there.
No Avenyan did NOT drop him he stunned him Matia's went back to the ropes and they gave him a standing 8 count. Did you not watch the fight or are just going off what the commentators said?

Matias has never been off his feet and he took shots from good punchers like Dadashev and Jukembalaev.

Your welcome, Suibriel Matias is one hombre, who goes after his opponents guns a blazing. Can you imagine fighting someone like this guy who just keeps on coming at you?
Takes whatever you can dish out, and then puts a world of hurt on you. This guys power is devastating, it's something that has a long lasting affect on his victims.
It's his defense that he needs to work on, because he's taking unnecessary punishment. I wouldn't want to see him fight Pedraza, because he's another fighter that I follow in the sport.
That said anyone else that he fights will be an entertain night for those of us who are watching him to see how his career progresses.

I would say I would shoot him, but he's been shot already, and he survived that! Lol!

So much has already been said about this dynamo, and yet there is still so much to say. This wasn't a fight between Subriel Matias and Petros Ananyan, it was an all out WAR!
They really wanted to inflict damage, and pain on each other this time around. Subriel's face was slightly swollen, but Petros' face was bloodied, and knotted all up.
Don't expect to see Petros fight again for at least 2 years or longe, while he recuperates, I'm hoping to see Subriel in the ring within the next 3 to 6 months, against anyone in the top 10, or challenging for the title. His rough, and tumble style will cause his career to be shortened considerably unless of course he starts moving his head, tightens up his defense, and works on his foot movement to maintain his balance, leverage, and distance.
Even with those flaws he is one hell of a fighter, I'd like to see some improvements in his game in order to maximize his careers longevity.

Yup he doesn't just beat guys he hurts them takes the fight out of them that's pretty damn impressive.

Matias has been a favorite of mine for a while now but he's gotten no respect from. The boxing world yet. PR has been pushing these wannabe reggeaton softies yet have given Matias zero respect and he's PRs best bet to go big right now. Matias had to go train in Mexico because rumor has it sparring partners in PR weren't up to the task against Matias.

Ponce is no 1 and Matias is no 2. It's all gone quiet on the final eliminator front, and instead they both took other fights. To me that says they're waiting. Taylor will go to 147 after Catteral, and the IBF will order them to fight for the vacant title. That's my opinion. If you think something different, that's up to you.

No I didn't watch the fight, that's why I asked the question. But now you've clarified that he got a standing eight count for me, it still tells me what I already thought. Thanks.

Subriel said that he caught hell form his fan base, management team, and others in Puerto Rico for losing to Petros Ananyan in their first fight.
After Subriel Matias destroyed Petros in their rematch, quite possibly ending his career all of them will jump back on the band wagon.
Subriel felt he had to redeem himself, and redeem himself he did in spades leaving no question as to who was was the better fighter.
Petros doesn't want the tie breaker fight against Subriel, he's going to get a headache from just hearing his name mentioned from now on.
It really looks like Subriel Matias is destined to become world champion this year, no matter who is holding the belt.
