Ngannou, like his predecessor Stipe Miocic, is a converted boxer with a very boxing-centric style, and as a superb combat athlete who already devotes a great deal of energy training boxing, there's no reason to think that he couldn't make a successful heavyweight boxer, especially after concentrating his focus for awile. And the concept being floated is indeed a title shot at the champion under MOQ rules. Would he waltz into boxing's top 10 and win the way old Ray Mercer walzed into MMA and smoked the then #7 ranked x2 UFC champion? Strange things can happen.
Yeah I can agree with that Miocic won the golden gloves and Ngannou was a boxer before transitioning to MMA like I said I don't think he beats the champions but he can still possibly have some moderate success and get some paydays. I don't think his power will be as devastating with 10 oz gloves and his stamina isn't the best but I'd sure like to see him vs Efe Ajagba or Chisora some African heavyweight battles.

He also trains with Dewey Cooper who has a decent boxing brain and has been around the sport as of late.

Ngannou better be ready, he's facing a strong guy with good stand up, that can catch him with something nasty. Rousy vs Holms type of ko..
