I read post after post about how Joshua loses with too much humility. Khan though is never humble after defeats and this is also a reaon for hate. They are both wrong?
One of the fundamental afflictions that boxing has is that fans have serious problems with fighters taking an L. It's ludicrous, because there has to be a loser when there is a winner, and we need to have fights. But we have this ridiculous situation where a fighter is a zero if they lose twice and people complain about fighters not fighting enough or not fighting the top competition.
If the best fight the best, you are going to see good fighters lose. Losing does not mean you are a zero.
The problem is not Khan losing to good fighters and then refusing to act like zero. I say once again: boxing needs more fighters like Khan. He is a fighter of some talent, but never scaled the true heights. What hope does boxing have if a boxer like that is universally harangued? Where does the future competition come from? It encourages fighters to behave the way we do not want: protecting their 0, fighting easy opposition, ducking true competition and padding their record.
