Did they when I saw a hundred interviews where Yarde said the fight wasn't big enough and it would happen later sure you're not confused. Never seen Yarde ask for that one. Eddie has always seemed keen on that one.


I'd like to see that one seems logical, Avensyan still a bit above Benn so logical.
Avetisyan has been a bit selective in his opponents though he ran from an eliminator / Ortiz fight (an even better fight) so are we sure he'd take it.

Ortiz didn't duck it. He was in the process of finalising the Mckinson fight and requested to be able to carry on with that fight before the eliminator. The WBC approved the request.

I agree, Yarde should go for the title shot. But I also see lots of double standards. Benn gets slaughtered for not fighting Avanesyan. He's doing what's right for him. If that's ok for Yarde, then so it should be for Benn. And there's a difference in these large offers. Warrens large offer to Benn is less than what Benn is already earning. This large offer to Yarde will be more than Warren has ever paid Yarde. I do like Yarde, although I think he is poor defensively and is being handled badly.
