I accepted all the rumors from before the Ward fights about his Vodka binges between (even during) camps as plausible when his assault charges came to light and he got ktfo by a middle weight in the same year.
He’s done. Beating another blown up LH won’t change my mind, if he manages to get through.

All his losses were to championship level fighters and he won the first Ward fight so not sure what rumors maybe for the 2nd fight. He knocked out Yarde who is still doing good and that wasn't too long ago he can still have some decent fights against the right opponents. Against guys like Okolie and Dorticos no way but possibly Badou Jack? That would be a good fight both around the same at this point in terms of miles.

Who knows maybe he will be rejuvenated sometimes that weight cut is what causes the punch resistance to decrease but he is getting up there in age if he loses this one then retirement is obviously the next call.

I have a feeling it has the potential to be an entertaining fight. It's been ages since I've seen Meng fight but he beat down Buglioni pretty good. Kovalev is about as shopworn as you can get, I'm sure he will have ****tail of vodka and PEDs coursing thru his veins come fight night.

The smart thing for kovalev to do is retire he was knocked out by a junior middleweight. You've made good money in your career go off into the sunset and enjoy it you have zero chance at 200 lb
