Is Bakole still promoted by Matchroom? I believe he was but I'm not sure that contract is still in effect. If that's the case, wouldn't Hearn have been aware that the fight with Yoka was postponed?

I imagine/hope that the IBF will rule that the bout with Hrgovic takes precedence since it will determine the mandatory for their belt and because Bakole has previously turned that down.

If Bakole is still involved with Matchroom, perhaps Eddie can slip him a few extra quid and get him a decent fight and payday on the undercard....it doesn't seem like Sauerland is in a financial position to do so.

This is more befitting. Yoka vs hrgovic should be that champ wilder vs fury buld up of 2 champs . fighting now would set both back with a loss. Plus both need legit opps to gage where at. Hrgovic vs chisora to hugie fury would be good test likewise for hrgovic. With fury n wilder aging out n aj with no jaw usyk 2 yrs max hold of on yoka vs hrgovic til champs or less fight is for belts

We need to get out of that mentality! Back in the day, fighters fought eachother at any point before a title run, they wasn’t scared of losing their 0, the best fights for the fans were made and that’s how it should be! None of this letting it “Marinate” garbage! The fans want to see the best fights, two unbeaten fighters fighting eachother…..if it is a good fight, sure they can fight again later on. I respect a fighter more that is not all about protecting that 0 and just fighting the best, win or lose!

We all want to see Yoka- Hrgovic BUT I feel the promotors & managers see premature and wont let it happen in 2022. Therefore Bakole could get his way.
