Well your second set of analogies is terrible. Especially since with a week to train Vitali gave Lewis a much harder time than Mercer, but we can forgive that.
Joe Calzaghe BEAT the hell out of Roy Jones
Roy Jones BEAT the hell out of James Toney
James Toney BEAT the hell out of Evander Holyfield
Evander Holyfield BEAT the hell out of Mike Tyson
Mike Tyson BEAT the hell out of Larry Holmes
Larry Holmes BEAT the hell out of Ali and made that coward quit on his stool
Joe Calzaghe clearly is better than Ali and is the GOAT

The bolded is a myth. Vitali Klitschko was already on the undercard of Lewis-Kirk Johnson, fighting an undefeated Cedric Boswell. he had already been training prior to fighting Lewis.
and Lewis was pretty old for that fight too, and did more damage to Vitali than Mercer did.
and for pretty much all of your examples, the older guy won. meaning there wasnt a decline in talent for the older generation.
Roberto Duran, at 45+, was still able to get a win over a top 5 ranked middleweight in the 90s.
explain.

Nobody should have to explain Roberto Duran. He just happens to be a candidate for the real GOAT! But, just about anybody else has problems hanging with the new generation and that's a fact. Klitschko looks almost alien.

Corrie Sanders did fine with both Klitschko brothers, and hes not exactly ripped. he also lost to Hasim Rahman. who got beat by a 40+ Holyfield.
look how many old men there are in Light Heavyweight division. if fighters are really 'evolving' so quickly, then these past prime old generation guys should have gotten kicked out a while ago.
130 by itself is kidstuff....I mean its for toddlers. You gotta show me something besides one dehydrated 130 lb champion before you start comparing to the likes of Calzaghe.

Mayweather's 130 pound resume > Calzaghe. Let alone his overall resume.

Yeah...and Corrie Sanders likes to sit around on his tractor and drink beer all day. He was a dedicated journeyman tough guy that could KO anybody on any given day....but not a CHAMPION. C'mon. Why do you think Holyfield was able to stay around for so long? Modern medicine, my friend....modern medicine and training technique.
