    12 ROUNDS

    and

Gary Allen Russell Jr vs Mark Magsayo
    12 ROUNDS

    https://www.proboxingodds.com/events/2022-01-23-1547

Optional X5 Multiplier applicable on Ananyan and Magsayo

    Ways fighters can win:

    DECISION: CLOSE (0-9), CLEAR (10 - 18), WIDE (19+)
KO: EARLY (1-4), MID (5-8) or LATE (9-12)

Examples of the ways you can state your decision:

PICK EM CREW, Ortiz, KO, Mid x3
PICK EM CREW, PETROV, MARTIN, WIDE x5
PICK EM CREW MARTIN KO LATE
If no multiplier is specified in your pick (ie x2, x3) then it will be assumed that no multiplier is being used (x1)
If you wish to pick a Draw result, simply state your Username, both fighter names and DRAW, ie:

PICK EM CREW, ORTIZ MARTIN DRAW

    NOTES:
-Picking the correct winner earns 20 pts
-Picking the correct method earns 10 pts
-Picking the correct detail is worth 10 pts
-Draws are worth 150 pts. A perfect pick without a multiplier is 40pts.

-CLOSE is 8 or fewer pts difference, eg 116 - 112, 115 -113 115 - 113 or closer. CLEAR is 9 - 17 pts difference, eg below 117 - 111 on all three cards WIDE is 18 points or over ie an average of 117 -111 or above on all three cards

-If you'd like to change your pick before the fight starts, post in this thread to do so. Ideally tag me so that I don't miss it.

-2X doubles your points and 3X triples your points. Everyone starts with 10 doubles and 6 triples to use throughout the year. If you forget how many you have left, check the leaderboard in the master thread. Every player also has 3 x5 special multipliers which can be only be used on an underdog (+100 or greater) fighter.

    ...............

If I could ask one of the mods to kindly sticky this thread and remove anything else Pick Em related except the 2021 masterthread, be greatly appreciated. And thanks once again for your help gentlemen.

Okay gents... Nice three week break and I'm sure many of you will have noticed I still haven't got up the 2022 masterthread. Matter of fact that was supposed to come right before this and I just spent close to an hour on it but I accidentally did it from my regular account then somehow managed to lose it all in the process of switching between accounts. Honestly can't be fkd starting again right now so I thought I'd just get this weeks Pick Em thread up then go back to the masterthread tomorrow. Apologies all.

Okay... so second Pick Em thread of the year and I've already strayed from the path of having top flight fights only by including the Matias vs Ananyan rematch... but therin of course is the reason why this one has the intrigue... can Subriel lay his ghosts to rest here, was the Ananyan fight just a fluke or a consequence of Subriels reaction to the Dadashev tragedy or is Petros just a guy that got Matias' number? Bookies seem to think it's the former but make no mistake Anayan ain't coming to lie down. Both fighters have fought and won since their last meeting but whilst Subriel has scored a brace of stoppages Ananyan only sc****d an MD back in October.

The main event... well , despite Magsayo impressive win over Ceja and Gary's two year ring absence there's every reason to suspect the bookies got it right here. For any other fighter I'd say a two year break would be a problem but for Gary it basically just means he skipped a fight, ha ha more significantly though the gap in difference in competiton level is so wide it ain't even funny. That's not to say Magnifico has no shot at all... just it probably isn't a great one unless Gary failed to thaw properly from his cryosleep or something. Should be fun however, don't think the Filipino got much quit in him but I think he's gonna have a long night.

Anyways, best of luck gentlemen, unless we got more cancellations we should have action on at least the next 5 weeks right through into March... so let's get this shat rolling.

    Kind regards to you all

    K
