Why is Thurman giving unsolicted career advice to someone who has already achieved more than he ever will?

Canelo needs to beat everyone from 160-200 or he's just cherry picking, yet we have 2 prime fighters at welterweight who have been pulling a Mayweather/Pacquaio for the past 3.5 years.

Maybe Canelo should retire for 2 years like Thurman and Mayweather did to get some credit.

The below means that his input was in fact “solicited”
“When Thurman was asked by Fight Hub TV to wear his analyst hat and predict the next phase of undisputed super middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez’s career, Thurman said:” dude is an analyst, what do you want him to say? No comment? I swear canelo fans think he’s above any criticism from anyone.

Yeah, If Canelo really moves to cruiserweight, then he shouldn't even entertain the idea of ever fighting at SMW again

**** Benavidez and Charlo, these punks should be the ones moving up if they want a shot at ginger, who is leagues above them when it comes to resume and drawing power

So the guy with the garbage career is telling to the undisputed champ what he should do. I thought Caleb was a bum ass cherry picker but I respect the fact that he is calling out charlo now. He learned a little something from Canelo and that is to fight the best from fight to fight and not just sit around waiting for daddy to give you your allowance. Caleb should be calling out Benavides as well imo that seems like a no brainer. Clear the division and force Canelo to give you the rematch.

He’s the A-side they have to meet him at wherever he’s comfortable. That said I agree these are the best fights for him to be made.

To be fair Canelo doesn’t NEED to do anything. I don’t see any of these other guys jumping up divisions to fight anybody. I’m not even a Canelo fan like that but over the years it’s gotten ridiculous in terms of what fans demand of him. Same thing they did to Manny & Floyd, people always moving the goal posts.

People criticize Canelos potential fight at CW, claiming it’s a cherry pick when you got guys like Charlo (who is naturally bigger than Canelo) refusing to fight above 160. It’s almost comical. If it’s so easy why doesn’t he go up and do it? Why won’t David do it? They rather shrink down as much as possible so they can bully the little guys. (More so Charlo than David since David is still a kid & Charlos in his 30s)
