This guy chose to stall his career for years. Inactivity has hurt him. He should have kept busy, kept himself relevant. But you can't expect to crawl out of the woodwork once per year or even less, and demand the top fights.

There is a glaring flaw in your logic, Terence Crawford's dominant performances in two divisions against the highest ranked available opponents, merits credit.

For 'Bud' to continue the campaign of domination in his third weight and be considered the #1 welterweight in the world. and favorite against Spence already says enough about his level. Canelo Alvarez is probably the only other boxer that has been rated as long as Terence Crawford in the P4P, and yet Saul was removed for a year for violating VADA.

Lastly, if it takes just won boxer to validate 'Bud' who has been seriously injured in a car-wreck and recently had a injury to the retina of one of his eyes, I can imagine that critics will never give Crawford his due respect.

Your logic is terrible. So your saying Tim is a nobody but had a tough resume(by no means a legendary one but definitely solid) and easily beat JMM, who brought hell to Pac in not 3 but 4 fights is a nobody. That's just plain silly. I wanted that Khan fight but he was focused on fighting Pacquiao who not only brought in more revenue but was hof status so it was an easy pick. However Tim should've fought Khan after the rematch with Pac. Ej (Spence) fight didn't matter as Tim was on the back 9 at that point in his career.
