If the PPV is $40-$60 they will definitely have a lot more buys than before. All the illegal streamers would just buy the fight since it’s at a more reasonable price. $80-$100 is what scares people away.

Oh please with these guys. Neither of them want the fight because they both want to be paid nicely in case they lose their 0. They will never fight and quite frankly, who cares?

Nah. Drunk driving and endangering the lives of people on the road (idc how late it was) and you got another guy causing property damage at a body shop bc he doesn't get his way. Nothing thuggish about them, at all pft. Perfect role models.

Just do t force everything into sore conceived narrative. You’re blaming Spence and Crawford hasn’t even decided to sign with pbc.
YES! I'm blaming him for a car accident outside of training camp....a reckless, senseless act he pulled in driving drunk. Let's be glad he didn't hurt anybody other than himself. I don't give a rat's ass about a drunk driver....yet, you're sympathizing with one to make a point. Some noble person you are, huh?

Keith got into an accident before the Porter fight had to be rescheduled....and all he received was criticism, yet, the drunk, wannabe rapper in Spence can go out here and nearly kill himself (again, I'm glad nobody else was hurt) and you all sympathize with him and patiently awaited his return. True ***********, if I've ever seen such.

And the training camp injury happened....it's training camp. I get it. I just don't see how most goofy Spence fans can side with him for clowning Thurman about his injuries, yet, he can't stay healthy himself.

          I'm done here.

Great point. Spence actually gets sympathy for some dumb s h i t that he did to himself. And getting a retina tear in training camp means he was probably getting touched up by his sparring partners.

Your point would be stronger if Gutierrez (the titlist) had the house advantage, but he's gonna fight Colbert on Showtime. Let's not lie: if the fight is close, everyone will already be expecting Colbert to get the decision. Personally, my primary gripe has always been that the PBC stars aren't allowed to fight off PBC island, with Colbert/Gutierrez being another example. That isn't to say that Gutierrez is a bigger name than Colbert, or that other promoters don't practice this behavior. It's just a potential obstacle that appears to justify PBC stars' insularity, and it's why I never get my hopes up for match-ups between PBC attractions and non-PBC stars.

Ruiz fought Joshua on DAZN. Browne fought Beterbiev on ESPN. Porter fought Crawford on ESPN. No purse bids!

PBC didn't get in Ruiz's way of fighting one of boxing's cash cows, and in Browne's way of getting a title shot against a consensus top 3 opponent. These examples are how we should expect things to go. Promoters, managers, and networks shouldn't be getting in the way of a fighter getting big opportunities. Otherwise, Ruiz would've missed out on a a life-altering victory and Browne would've had to sit on the shelf because PBC doesn't control any LHW title and no credible contenders for Browne to face.

I hope Crawford sent Porter a nice Christmas gift for doing him a solid and making the match-up.

It doesn't happen often, but PBC has done a good job of working with other promoters, networks, etc. Just in 2021: Canelo vs. Plant, Crawford vs. Porter, and Browne vs. Beterbiev! We already have Colbert vs. Gutierrez coming soon, so 2022 is off to a good start! I'd like to see Haney vs. Kambosos, and Tank vs. Garcia, but I won't hold my breath!
