This isn't hard to believe.

When PBC makes Bud an offer, I don't want to hear any crying because exactly what they told you would happen comes to fruition.

For this magnitude of a fight, the money isn't there for both guys. Spence is the A-side and Bud isn't going to take significantly less than he feels he's worth. I think that has been made clear.

bud got an attitude and sense of entitlement, he is crying about arum ripped him off when he got paid 3 million to fight uber drivers. he is going to see grass isnt always greener on the other side. whatever he thinks he should get vs spence, his true worth to make a profitable fight for pbc will be much less. hes got basically no fan base and now he is suing his last promoter so all the other promoters see him as a trouble maker crybaby

The truth hurts.... Fact is Crawford wants 10 million, which doesn't leave much left, and Spence no doubt deserves the Lion share since he's actually sold PPV, I mean Crawford vs Porter did 80k in PPV buy's, if Crawford really believes he can beat Spence, then he should take less to prove it, which will ultimately lead to a bigger purse in other fights, Crawford needs to put in the work before the huge pay days.

Wasn't Matchroom was the sole promoter for Joshua/Ruiz, and Top Rank/Yvon Michel for Beterbiev/Browne? Does a bout count as cross-promotional if only one promotional company is carrying the burden?

For the sake of the argument that "Haymon only let's his fighters, fight in-house," it does count. Colbert vs. Gutierrez will be a PBC card, but Gutierrez is a GBP fighter.

Nice try! We all saw Spence litteraly run out once he saw Porter get stopped. That's why i've been saying all thevso called promoters are on yhe way out. If you can't market a fight between 2 guys on the p4p list for and undisputed title well...plenty of kids on youtube and social media that can do the job and they wont ask for a huge fee.

Spence isnt a ppv star nor is he as talented as Bud and I doubt Ugas vs. Spence does anymore than Crawford vs. Porter.

I really hope Ugas throws a wrench in this equation.

Why not pay each guy a decent flat fee and then split the rest with the winner taking the lions share of the profits ?
The business of boxing has all but killed the sport of boxing. If this fight doesn't get made soon people are going to stop caring about it , or one of the guys is going to get knocked off and there went the fight. I almost hope that they both lose their next fights just for being too greedy.

It's the same thing as Tyson Fury vs Dillian Shyte. Their numbers say that 80-20 is a fair split in that one.

The numbers for Spence vs Crawford say that a 60-40 split for Spence is fair.

Even Crawford himself acknowledges he's not a PPV star, since he's suing Arum for not making that happen.

Crawford is suiting Arum for breach of contract, not delivering, acting in bad faith, and deliberate sabotaging Crawford/Porter PPV numbers.
Unfortunately Bob is a smart and ruthless businessman that has all the angles covered.


For the record................Spence never wanted to fight Crawford for any price but don't take my word for it, look it up, Errol's long list of changing excuses are easy to find. And that's not an opinion it's been recorded over years in multiple interviews .
