Not true. Bob Arum has become one of the most disliked characters in boxing and he blatantly trashed his own fighter publicly. And its looking like he and espn colluded in sabotaging the PPV numbers for Crawford’s last fight by making the fight only available to people who have the ESPN+ app. No one is going to side with Bob Arum right now.

along with another $10 million for Plant, who is a nobody.
Yet they can't find $20 mil for Spence/Crawford.

Canelo/Plant did 800k buys and a big live gate, or over 8 times the buys of Buds last fight. Porter is a bigger name than Plant.
And Haymon is looking at the bigger picture. He’s hoping by taking care of Canelo now they will do more business in the future. A Charlo fight in May would be big especially in Charlo’s home state of TX.

PBC and Al Haymon have never represented Terence Crawford. So they have no obligations to him. But Bob Arum was Crawford’s promoter and he was obligated to promote his client. So by going to the media and trashing his own client I’m sure he had to have been violating the contractual obligations that he has to Crawford.

No this doesn’t confirm Spence doesn’t want the fight because Crawford hasn’t signed with pbc yet.

It could very well be Pbc negotiating through the media to lower Crawford’s singing demands. Let’s not force everything into a pre conceived narrative.

If you're saying PBC is getting a return of their investment on Canelo,
who will probably get a minimum $60 million guarantee for his next fight, okaay.

When pbc was flooded with money is when they shouldve made the Bud/Spence fight. They didnt, Spence grew fcukin feathers and them pbc boys requested exorbitant amounts cause they cowards. It seems that pbc is broke and will only suck off Saul to make a decent return.
