To call Spence a ppv star is a stretch. To not even attempt to make the fight is bull.sh.it and for Spence and the rest of them pbc cowards to price themselves out or not even call out the wbo champ is V.A.G.I.N.A, period. Bud pulled Spenc's h.o.e card and Daddy Al greased the WBA to pull Ugas out of their tournament. Crawford said it best recently "They shouldve fought me when i first moved up to 147, cause now i beat them all easily"......

over/under when any of them find their nuts, i say 1-2 years AFTER Crawford is over 35

Even more evidence that Spence never wanted the Crawford fight…and probably never will.

Well here it is! LOL you dumbass troll. Keep crying about Canelo you jealous loser.
I have several non Canelo related posts, you just only want to obsess over the ones that mention him. You’re obviously following my every move like a creepy weirdo. My post wasn’t negative about him and was comparing two very similar scenarios but all you want to focus on is that the name Canelo was mentioned like the sensitive b***h you are. Golden boy did the same exact thing pbc is doing now and it was proven to be bullshet logic. The same way anything you type about boxing on here is the logic of a rer@rd. If you can prove my point to be wrong or that the comparisons are off, do it, if not, hop off my sack maldito mar1con.

Exactly why I just keep it moving. If fights happen then cool. But I'm not gonna invest energy into a ***********al sport that can easily be fixed.

It's the same thing as Tyson Fury vs Dillian Shyte. Their numbers say that 80-20 is a fair split in that one.

The numbers for Spence vs Crawford say that a 60-40 split for Spence is fair.

Even Crawford himself acknowledges he's not a PPV star, since he's suing Arum for not making that happen.

It has to make business sense. Bud is not a mainstream draw but wants to get paid like one. I think that opportunity has passed for him. He decided to sign and stay with Arum and seemed ok taking soft fights for good guarantees.
He can blame Arum all he wants but IMO he wasted his real prime years.
Haymon is looking at the big picture. How much does he have to guarantee Bud for it to make sense? How much business does this fight do? And if Bud wins what other fights can be made? Will Bud sign a deal with PBC or is it a one fight deal?
Unfortunately Bud has put himself in a position where he doesn’t have much control over the fights that can be made.
I agree with most of what you've said! However Crawford fought Khan AFTER the Canelo KO! No Bueno! Crawford fought Brook AFTER Golovkin and Spence KO'd him! No Bueno! So Bob did not get him any opponents that were worthy of a PPV! Even Porter had already lost to BOTH Thurman and Spence, and barely beat Ugas, before Crawford fought him! However, like you said, Crawford did sign an extension, knowing ALL the top WWs were at PBC! That's on Bud! Even Manny left and joined PBC! Many have forgotten, but even Manny had problems with Arum:

Manny Pacquiao and Bob Arum Continue to be at Odds Over Prospective Opponents
              March 26, 2018

Manny Pacquiao’s return to the ring sometime this year has been on been ongoing saga on whether the proposed bout with Argentina’s Lucas Matthysse (39-4, 36 KOs) will actually pull through for sometime this summer. Reports of strain relations between Pacquiao and Arum should come to no surprise as there were signs prior to Pacquaio’s fight with Jeff Horn in Australia. The Pacquiao camp caused a stir in recent weeks as they announced to boxing press that Pacquiao is currently a free agent and no longer contractually obligated to Top Rank.

“I reviewed the contract and I found out that Bob Arum has no more say even in the rematch, should there be any between Manny Pacquiao and Australian boxer Jeff Horn,” said Pacquiao’s lawyer Eldibrando Viernesto to the Philippine press.

Furthermore, the camp also announced a date that has since been rescheduled at a site in Malaysia with the hopes of sealing a deal with Matthysse through his promoter Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions. Pacquiao was reportedly insulted with the initial offer from Top Rank to perhaps be on a undercard to Horn-Crawford to fight Mike Alvarado. Manny rejected the offer and is now reportedly negotiating a fight through his own without the involvement of Top Rank.

Top Rank's Bob Arum says Manny Pacquiao payment issue being handled
              September 11, 2018

One day after Manny Pacquiao threatened to sue Top Rank for failing to pay him money he claimed it owed him for the United States broadcast rights of his last fight, Top Rank chairman Bob Arum told ESPN on Tuesday the issue was being handled.

The Philippines' Pacquiao, 39, the only fighter in boxing history to win world titles in eight weight classes, returned from a one-year layoff and scored three knockdowns in a seventh-round knockout victory over Lucas Matthysse to win a secondary welterweight world title on July 15 at Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Top Rank, which had been Pacquiao's longtime promoter, did not promote the fight but handled the American distribution of the event, which was streamed on ESPN+ as part of Top Rank's long-term deal with ESPN.

On Monday, Pacquiao (60-7-2, 39 KOs) wrote on his Instagram page that he had not yet been paid by Top Rank for the U.S. rights.

"Congratulations and good luck to Top Rank Boxing and ESPN on your 7-year partnership agreement," Pacquiao wrote. "I know both of you have been very busy finalizing the deal. However, I have not received the U.S. rights payment for my July 15 fight against Lucas Matthysse that was broadcast on ESPN plus. Therefore, I am initiating legal proceedings against Top Rank and all other parties based on the non-payment and attempt to restrict my future rights. Thank you."

Arum said it was a matter of Pacquiao having not signed and returned the proper contract for the event, but the issue was being taken care of.

                This isn't hard to believe.

When PBC makes Bud an offer, I don't want to hear any crying because exactly what they told you would happen comes to fruition.

For a fight of this magnitude, the money isn't there for both guys. Spence is the A-side and Bud isn't going to take significantly less than he feels he's worth. I think that has been made clear.

The ball sits squarely on PBC's court now. There's nobody else.

Wasn't Matchroom was the sole promoter for Joshua/Ruiz, and Top Rank/Yvon Michel for Beterbiev/Browne? Does a bout count as cross-promotional if only one promotional company is carrying the burden?

The truth hurts.... Fact is Crawford wants 10 million, which doesn't leave much left, and Spence no doubt deserves the Lion share since he's actually sold PPV, I mean Crawford vs Porter did 80k in PPV buy's, if Crawford really believes he can beat Spence, then he should take less to prove it, which will ultimately lead to a bigger purse in other fights, Crawford needs to put in the work before the huge pay days.
