I love AJ. He’s just too nice of a guy. He doesn’t have that killer instinct anymore like 4-5 years ago. He excepts defeat too easily. He should go all in at this point.

After seeing an overweight and self admitted out of shape Whyte clip Joshua I'm one that's not surprised when Joshua loses. Eddie Hearn only offered Wilder 15% (£15m of a minimum 100 m pot) for good reason ! If Joshua doesn't land early then he gases and gets stopped by little Usyk whoever is in his corner.

I like Joshua as a human being and all. He seems to be a good dude. But this is boxing. I wish he had that killer instinct like a Lennox Lewis, Holyfield or previous champions to go in there and make it a dogfight and play to his strengths and force the other guy to make adjustments. I don't know if he grew up in the hood or what but damn get that DOG back. Go for the knockout, push him back and make Usyk uncomfortable. Then after Usyk is knocked out then take him out for a drink.

Agreed. Maybe a public fight with Usyk would help. Something like a Rahman and Lewis. Even an all time great like Ali had public spats with his opponents.

There are currently 631 professional boxing trainers in the world according to ProBoxTrainer.com. If AJ averages 3-4 gym visits per day before the rematch, he could get some training in with the majority of these and dramatically improve his chances to win. Poor Usyk won't know what to do with the style-blend that AJ's going to bring. Forget having a Plan B. AJ will have Plan A-Z and will be able to adjust his style completely every 48 seconds.

I believe that was the best version of AJ that we have ever seen. Far more mobile, far more active, less tentative (with that strange pitty-pat jab)…and YET…he lost to a better fighter - someone with real skills and ring IQ. Don’t let the result fool you. That is as good as AJ can be. And if he comes out swinging in the rematch - attempting the Swarming Chisora strategy - he will get caught and KO’ed. AJ was always overrated, as his Parker snoozefest and sloppy loss to Ruiz clearly demonstrate.

Mentally prepared or not, Usyk will beat this guy each time. I got my money on TKO for the rematch.

It seems not so much what AJ will do different but what Usyk won't do.

Somehow I don't see Usyk going the Ruiz route in the interim and letting himself be distracted by the trappings of success.

Fast Eddie needs to buy himself a better homecooked ref and judges if he wants the belts back in his stable.

we always laugh when u can see the excuses coming a mile away and are rarely disappointed when they arrive, this is unusual, fair play to joshua, he needs to put mr nice guy to bed for the fight tho, get angry & go out on his shield if usyk really is just too good for him, attack him
