Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte purse bids has now been pushed back by a week

The date for Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte purse bids has now been pushed back by a week, Fury’s UK co-promoter Frank Warren revealed on talkSPORT.

As a result, the initial purse bids date of January 11 has now been delayed to the following week.

Warren explained on talkSPORT Fight Night: “First of all the purse bids have been pushed back by a week now.

“The purse bids will be seven days after. Next Monday [January 17] or Tuesday [January 18].

“Of course they’re entitled to appeal [the split].

“I don’t think they’ll get anywhere because when you get these situations, the purse bids are based upon boxers’ previous earnings…

Whyte just needs to accept he's not getting that 45% he's delusional af and seems to have forgotten he got knocked out 2 fights ago. This is why i don't like Whyte that much if this was any other fighter doing it to him he would be calling them every name under the sun in the media, he's a hypocrite and idiot that's why Fury won't budge because he rightfully doesn't like the guy and isn't going to do him any favours.

Frank knows the score… Dillian hasn’t got a leg to stand on.

Sometimes that’s an indication that the two camps are working towards their own deal but I doubt it here with how far apart they are.
Whyte is getting a split based on his current worth. He wants a split based on Fury’s which isn’t happening.
He’s not confident he’ll win so he’s looking for a retirement check to take an L.

Fury’s getting the bigger split in his lips when Whyte knocks him out .

wbc rules and regulations state a mandatory challenger gets 30%.
why did they change that for whyte?

            Example
Haney vs Jojo Diaz, it was 55-45...

wbc are making it up as they go along.

All the sanctioning bodies should make the rules more accessible and get rid of the hidden jargon in it ,the rules were created for loopholes to take place in a corrupt system ,needs to be modified and updated and or the very least show the fans what is going on with at least a public announcement of why something is but they keep everything hidden in little contexts when you try and really read between the lines ,and the WBC is the worst .

One good thing the WBC is pushing in 2023 is the possibility of having the mandated fighters from other bodies fight it out if championship fight is unavailable to cut time out of waiting .

You only saying this because it’s Tyson Fury, Whyte only got 25% against AJ and thats before AJ was as popular as he is now. Guaranteed if this was AJ vs Whyte again you would have no issue with AJ taking 80% the bodies are consistent with purses it’s fans like you who are not consistent and make narratives depending on if you like the fighter or not.

Purse bids should never be about previous earnings. These weak orgs change their rules far too often

Because going back several decades, you have always been able to petition to have the split changed if you can prove your recent purses are astronomically larger than the opponent's recent purses.

For example, when Fury was the mandatory, Klitschko successfully petitioned to have the split modified to 80/20.

Joshua vs Usyk was also ordered at 80/20.

I've never seen you complain about 80/20 in the past.
