You said the magic name David Morrell, will the promoters make the fight between Edgar Berlanga, and David Morrell, or even David Benavidez in late 2022?
He's got to fight one of those two by his 2st, or 22nd, fight or fans will really start to lose any semblance of belief that he's a challenger for any title at 168, or 175.
Morrell Jr., and Zayas, definitely have better boxing skill's, if not better KO power, and I honestly don't think that they do have better KO power than Berlanga.
Nobody is saying that Berlanga shouldn't knockout his opponent's in the first round, at least I'm not, he should knock them out as soon as possible.
What I'm saying is that he needs to stop swing with the intention that every punch has to be a knockout blow, throw punches in fluid combination's.
His ring generalship, and foot movement also has to become more loose, he's to stiff right now, he needs more flexibility in his limbs.
The thing is I think he can incorporate these abilities into his game plan, that job falls into the hands of his trainer, who should have had him working on this already.
What's up with that? Berlanga is still young enough to make these changes in order to become a complete fighter, win a title, and retain it for years to come.
Is this the year that Subriel "Browny" Matias becomes a champion? Can't wait to see him January 22nd on SHO!
Can Pedraza beat Ramirez? He's fighting in Ramirez's backyard, so he'll have to DOMINATE to win on the scorecards!

He has a good trainer, same guy that trains Derevyanchenko, and trained Danny Jacobs! In fact, I think Danny Jacobs would be a great fight for June @ MSG, if the promoters could make it happen! If not Jacobs, maybe Gabe Rosado, or Steven Nelson? He's not ready for Morrell Jr.! Morrell Jr. is a MONSTER! Would love to see him fight Jermall Charlo, Caleb Plant, or Benavidez!

I think Edgar Berlanga knocks out Danny Jacobs, and Derevyanchenko, after being tested a bit in the early rounds by both.
I would definitely love to see both of those fights take place this year, in New York where they all reside, and have their fan base.
This year Gabe Rosado, Steven Nelson, and Jaime Munguia, would also be entertaining as hell, and valuable experience he would gain.
Caleb Plant, Jermall Charlo, David Benavidez, and David Morrell Jr., all of them in that order in 2023.
That gives Berlanga ample time to gain the rounds, and experience needed to fight that murder's row of elite fighters.
Subriel Matias should become champion in 2022, he just needs to avoid punches like the one that Petros Ananyan stung him with.
If he doesn't improve his defense even if he wins a title he won't retain it for very long, if he retains it at all.
I'm a big fan of Subriel, he is like a predator on a seek, and destroy mission in the ring, it's an amazing thing to watch him breaking down his opponent's.
This guy is no joke, one of the things to see coming at you in the ring, a killer, a true assassin in the ring, I mean the figuratively, although it happened literally.
Jose Pedraza, can definitely beat Jose Ramirez, even in his opponent's home town, if there's home cooking bet on Pedraza being the chef.
Pedraza, is fighting at a more natural weight for his height, I always thought that he looked emaciated at 130, and 135.
At 140, he's sturdier more resilient, I would just like to see him go after the fighters he hurts with more gusto.
I believe he'll need to do just that in his fight with Ramirez, he can't really afford another lose on his record at this stage of his career.Comment
