I'm this instance, I will say I understand GBP's stance more than PBC. They have the fighter who is marketable and it seems they initiated overtures for the fight.

We have instances of TR working with both PBC and GBP (Beterbiev fought Browne, Wilder fought Fury, Hooker fought Ramirez) but I can't think of any instances where PBC fighters and GBP/Matchroom fighters fought. Odd.

Those instances are only for mandatories and ordered fights. PBC don't work with others voluntarily.

Linares, Diaz and Zepeda. There's 3 GB fighters for Garcia to fight this year. He could probably fight all 3 in the same year. Easy fights to make. 2 good names and a fellow prospect. All top 10. By the end of 2022 he'd be back in the frame with his stock elevated. There's no point in looking at any PBC guys because their not allowed. It's a no brainer.
