Cruz camp looks bad basically admitting they got the offer to fight but they won't allow him to fight on DAZN no matter what even for more money then he got against Tank. Saying the fight only happens on Showtime PPV? But Tank vs Cruz pulled in terrible numbers just 52K PPV buys. Tank vs Cruz should of never been on PPV in the first place thats why numbers were bad and there is no combination of fights you could make that have the name Cruz in it that should be on PPV. Cruz is not a PPV level fighter let alone a opponent for a PPV. PBC stop this insanity forcing fights on PPV and blocking fights.

This is actually one of the saddest points .. Ellerby said that Davis was watched by more than Canelo on DAZN but according to Mike Coppinger DAZN got more new (not existing) subscribers to watch Canelo fight Saunders at 4am just in the UK on an app no one had heard of at the time than Davis did on ppv at his best in the States.

PBC have no plan, they have a massive (the biggest) potential viewership but no plan to get them to watch . There guys neeed more big free to air fights, or cheaper ppv fights, or cross platform fights or something ... before you start 80 dollar ppvs.

How can PBC fighters become stars when they are only seen by 20,000 fans on their awful PPV'S.

I'm this instance, I will say I understand GBP's stance more than PBC. They have the fighter who is marketable and it seems they initiated overtures for the fight.

We have instances of TR working with both PBC and GBP (Beterbiev fought Browne, Wilder fought Fury, Hooker fought Ramirez) but I can't think of any instances where PBC fighters and GBP/Matchroom fighters fought. Odd.

Alot of ppl predicted straight after the Tank fight that it would be unlikely that the powers of the PBC would not allow Cruz to fight Tanks rivals incase they made short work of him..

They would rather it seem that Cruz was alot better than ppl thought than it seem Tank is worse than ppl thought. Its the Luis "no thanks" Ruiz syndrome..

Personally I'm a believer in styles make fights and triangle theories don't float my boat so it wouldn't matter to me what Tanks rivals did to Cruz but the PBC care and most of their shilling is done by triangle theories and hypotheticals.

I don’t know why Garcia is so hung up on this guy. Just move on. Cruz is a nobody coming off a loss, he should be bending over backwards to get a fight with a guy are Garcia’s level. He needs Garcia way more than Garcia needs him but Garcia continues to engage with him. Just make and offer and give them a deadline and if he doesn’t take it move on. Cruz can go back to Mexico and fight on the undercard of some local donkey show.
