I wouldn't bet against it that's for sure. Eventhough he has hasn't ventured past 160 ,I'd say Mall is still bigger than Canelo come fight night. That coupled with his skill could be enough to possibly pull it off against someone far less skilled like Makabu. Makabu is short in stature himself so let's not pretend we're talking about an Usyk sized cruiserweight here either.

Charlo isn’t a gym rat and he’ll look bigger off season, but so would Canelo. We don’t know how Jermall looks on the 168 scale. I take it Jermall hydrates 18lbs at 160. That’s 178 on fight night.
