I don't think Pac and JMM are pretending to be nice and humble. I honestly think this is who they truly are in and out of the limelight. On the other had FM put's on a show in front of the camera, I really don't believe this is how he really is away from the camera. To me FM puts on a show any chance he gets. With that being said just look at the 2nd episode where the dude is passing out food to the homeless. I think what he does is a great gesture and a way of giving to those less fortunate than him. But does he really need to be out there doing it himself? I bet he don't take out his own trash yet finds it necessary to be in front of the camera giving out bagged lunches. Again, nice gesture but he doesn't (IMO) need to be doing that.

There is a societal benefit to doing it yourself. When a celebrity gives money, that is great and it helps. Of course.
But when a celebrity goes out himself, it draws cameras and shines the light on the charity and the needy. It brings attention which every charity WANTS. If it was just Leonard and Nate out there, would the cameras be there?

There's a reason why charities court celebrities. There's a reason why PETA uses naked celebrities. They want attention.

You make an excellent point. I agree with you so long as it brings the attention to the charity and the cause and not to himself. It can be argued why he uses HBO 24/7 to bring this to the public's eye. Then again I can't say that he doesn't bring attention to the cause through other means.

In the end I suppose so long as someone benefits, in this case the homeless.
