The bold: That's what I wanna see next. Or, maybe Gervonta can take care of Rolly first, and Cruz has a fight with let's say Commey, or someone else, in the meantime.

Screw the 'hell no' BS and give the guy another shot to see if he can ACTUALLY beat you. Make it for March or May.

Maybe William Zepeda and Ryan on the undercard. Work with GBP, Floyd.
Cruz wasn't preparing for Tank "his whole life" but youre headed in the right direction . You don't think having to switch to an opponent with a drastically different style, what 4 months out, possibly effected Tanks performance? Imo it looked like Tank was ill prepared for what Cruz brought and was uncomfortable the whole fight more so than Cruzs ability,it happens. No need to hype up a fighter because your boy struggled with him. Cruz has heart and determination in spades I agree but beyond that, he's still a pretty basic "brawler". That's why I found it comical that many here suggested that Ryan "didn't want that work". This isn't Loma were talking about here.

Cruz and Commey would actually be a great fight and would give us a little better picture of where Cruz's level is at.

If you followed Cruz's career at the PBC, he has always been groomed as a potential opponent for Davis. That's someone they slept on as a last minute substitute. Davis was sparring super middleweights prepping for Rolly. That's what people like Barrios and Rolly are on fight night. From that to looking down, basically for the first time? Styles.

          Wanna see a rematch?

I've learned over the years that the people who run to Social Media and pretend to negotiate deals are Liars. It is usually when things go silent and most certainly off Social Media, is when fights gets announced out of nowhere. Ryan Garcia have a history of lying and as does Oscar. Not hard for Sean Gibbons and Eric Gomez to get on the Phone and at least discuss a deal

The way you worded it,looks like our definition of "groomed" meant something different. They absolutely had every intention in building up Cruz as a future potential opponent for Tank but that **** got expedited once Rolly had to bow out. Since Mayweather is all about "in-house", they had no one else.

As far as a rematch Its whatever. I'm sure with the proper, fully dedicated gameplan to Cruzs style,Tank would have a lot easier time with Cruz. So since it doesn't look like we're getting a Ryan vs Cruz fight, I guess that's the second best fight for either but I'd prefer a Cruz vs Commey or JoJo fight myself.
