My perspective on this: Haymon isn't blocking anything. If Oscar has a solid offer, Cruz Gonzalez will go to DAZN.

Oscar just got an offer or will get soon to keep his stable on DAZN. Ryan is a bigger name than Cruz, so it makes sense. If Oscar can deliver this fight on DAZN, it'd look good on GBP, as far as DAZN is concerned. Cruz's name has risen since his competitive fight with Davis. Cruz will beat the shit out of Ryan. No single doubt here.

The good thing about GBP is they have matchmakers who know what's up, like the guy who says let's do a softer touch. If I were a promoter, that's what I'd be thinking. Ryan needs nontwitter tune ups in the real boxing world. Gibbons is a POS for that twitter BS. Haymon couldn't care less as long as he's getting his advisory fee. I don't see him playing games with this one. Neither is a PPV fighter, unless it's an undercard to Davis-Rolly, or say Loma (my preferred fight). Cruz Gonzalez should go to DAZN if the offer is good. Maybe 3 mil?

I wouldn't at all mind William Zepeda as a substitute for Cruz. Zepeda would disfigure Ryan.

It's never meant to happen. One is DAZN-based and the other is PBC-based. PBC will never send their fighters and affiliates to DAZN. People need to move on and stop this nonsense.

It's sad for Cruz because he may never have the same offer with the same star caliber opponent like Garcia. Who else is there for Isaac, Tank Davis 2?

I like the Cruz-Garcia fight a lot. Good fight, styles wise. If not, I'd love to see Gervonta rematch Cruz, instead of Rolly. Cruz has been preparing for Davis basically all his career. Maybe Davis can exclusively prepare for him this time. Styles. Styles can be improved on with enough prep time.

Screw the 'hell no' BS and give the guy another shot to see if he can ACTUALLY beat you. Make it for March or May.

Maybe William Zepeda and Ryan on the undercard. Work with GBP, Floyd.

Fighter A (CRUZ) calls out fighter B (Garcia)

                  Fighter B says he's down

Fighter B's team sends contract to fighter A

Fighter A's team turns down offer

"Fans" of fighter A's promotional outfit still blame fighter B for the fight not getting done

                  makes sense

                    Couldn’t have said it better
                    It is what it is
PBC has a hard time working with the other promotional outfits and it’s been this way from day one
PBC was actually trying to have its own belts or league when they first got rolling
No fan of Hearn or the others but this is what’s killing boxing at the moment

It's the going price or close to it.

If someone like Wilder or Fury can make 20 mil, the little guys should deserve even more. Davis-Loma fight should make them at least 10 mil each, or even 20 mil, if it's on PPV. Chill man. I wouldn't pay a dollar for someone like Joshua, but he's making a 100 mil in one fight? Something is off.
