He needs to kick dad to the curb or I predict he'll fail apart against Taylor. It's going to be tough enough without some idiot in his corner talking nonsense.
Not unless Taylor moves up and vacates cause he isn't beating that bad man. Not even sure he gets by the Regis,Chon or Ramirez's to be honest. Could toss in Mikey as well but with his history with TR,doubt that fight ever gets made.
Coming back and fighting Montana Love will cut those plans short. (And that goes for the winner of Pedraza and Ramirez too.) Maybe someone like Sam Maxwell.
Id like to see Lopez vs. Prograis/Zepeda/Ramirez. His style will mesh well with all 3. Taylor is too good though.
The major flaw I noticed about Lopez is he needs to have his feet planted to unload. Kambosos suttle movement and active left hand threw him off. None of the guys mentioned above take sidesteps so itll give Lopez a chance to throw bombs.

The problem is that Lopez needs to add new tools because he's missing a lot of things. To put it simply, he's fantastic at fighting on the back foot, but he's not that good fighting on the front foot. I always knew that about him, so I was surprised he chose to fight Kambosos primarily on the latter. He needs to also not rely on the shoulder roll, shell defense exclusively. Floyd was always smart enough to know when you should and shouldn't shell up.
He isn't winning anything at 140 unless Taylor is either stripped of a title or relinquishes one on his own. Taylor will whoop his ass worse than Kambosos did.
