His management would never put him in there with Mayorga no matter how shot he is....

You might be right that his management wouldn't put him in there against Mayorga. But, I still think that will be the right step up for him. I think it will test his chin, we could see where his skill is at, see if he is tough, and see if his power is for real. A fight with Mayorga even this very shot version Mayorga. would still answer a lot of questions about Jr.

This fight may have proved he has decent power, he fought a good not great but good fighter who had never been stopped and only lost 1 close fight. He also did it in spectacular fashion....I though Mayorga wasn't boxing anymore but was going to have an mma fight.....I would like to see Jr. in with Joel Julio to test his beard.

I do think none of this guys but Duddy is a good choice 4 Jr, they r not top rated boxers but they r too strong 2 experienced 4 him yet. Not having an amateur carrer is a really bad thing, imagine Majorga bulling him arround from the 1st press conf all the way 2 ring, 2 me thats 90% of the fight on his pocket.

If what your saying is Mayorga could basically get into the young inexperienced fighter's head early and take his confidence away from the get go making it an easy fight, then I agree that could happen.

a guy with chavez jr's record now a days fights top ten contenders. his management won't step him up for the reason that his name is JULIO CEASAR CHAVEZ JR. which is bull****. living off his dad's name fighting bums-super bums, and the casual fans eat it up like he's as great as his dad.

hell, i'll name my son Mike Tyson Jr. so he can have a successful boxing career.

Chavez jr. vs Duddy would be a good fight.
