Saul Alvarez is a 19 year old WW. He has not business fighting Chavez at 154 at this point. And Alfonso Gomez is a pretty small WW himself, so same story.
I have to admit though, I am impressed with Chavez. Kid really needed to pull something like this out soon, glad to see he did.

Who in Chavez resume would you say are better than Alvarez or Gomez?

LeHoullier WHO?? Enough said. I liked Chavez when I first seen him but he's fighting BUMS and they're putting it on PPV. He even lost to some bum but they gave him the decision. He really needs to step it UP.

I see him at 147 Max but I think he could even do 140!

This is what he should look like at every fight or better if he expects to obtain 1/10th what his father did.

Yeah he has beat his opponents but it is the way he moves and the way his body went from fully cut to good for a normal guy.

He looked the best to me after he had some time with Erik Morales I forgot what fight he fought right afterwards but his footwork there was pretty nice.

Now he is very plodding and lumbering in his footwork now. Off balance a lot.

I thought he looked good in this fight especially compared to the ones he had before. I think is his lack of training that hurts him. Like you said when he was training with Morales he looked good. For this fight he trained in Big Bear. As long he is training hard I think he will keep improving
