    Jan 7th ShoBox Card

Looking forward to this card, especially since it appears to be the only one televised that I can see this weekend.

Luis Nunez (15-0) versus Carlos Arrieta (14-0)
Starling Castillo (16-0) vs Otar Eranosyan (10-0) Edwin De Los Santos (13-0) vs William Foster III (14-0)

Looks like the card has some other really good fights that won't be televised like Shinard Bunch (17-1-1), who I thought beat Bocachica, vs Shyngyskhan Tazhibay (9-0).

Castillo had a close fight against Burgos not too recently. Anyone else have thoughts on these matchups?

Won’t lie I’m not over-familiar with several of those names but I’m all for undefeated prospects fighting undefeated prospects.

I've only seen or heard of a few of them myself. If you look.at the whole card, it's impressive just based off the fact of how many undefeated prospects are On the card going up against the same or veterans with decent records.

You're in the UK right? How hard is it to access the Showtime cards? I've always been a fan of ShoBox and other series that pit prospects against each other.

Sounds like a good night of fights.
Good to see Showtime still dedicated to Boxing.

I usually check the schedule weekly.... I probably would've missed this card but now I won't!

None of these names look familiar but maybe I'll remember their faces, maybe not... But as Mr. @RJJ-94-02=GOAT stated above... I noticed the same thing, all undefeated prospects. I'm not complaining, I couldn't ask for more especially if there's no other fights this weekend.

          I appreciate the post

Nunez has some nice wins. That Castillo/Eranosyan fight looks to be a real nice matchup. Castillo beat Burgos but I remember thinking that fight was pretty close, Eranosyan also has beaten some decent competition.

There's a Russian LHW/CW named Ali Izmailov on the undercard who KO'd Fayfer a few fights back. I'm disappointed they aren't televising Shinard Bunch's fight. He impressed me against Bocachica and I thought he was robbed in that one.

You can stream the the big/main Showtime fights pretty easily, it’s a lot more difficult to get the ShoBox cards though from my experience. I’m admittedly not that tech savvy though so it’s probably possible if you know what you’re doing.

PBC cards in general are barely televised over here though which is frustrating. Sky show TR and DAZN obviously show GBP/Matchroom but nobody picks up PBC cards unless it’s a really big fighter like Pacquiao or Wilder. They don’t even pick up Spence fights or Tank fights which is really annoying.

Several years ago Boxnation used to show essentially all the Showtime cards including the ShoBox, but as soon as Frank Warren signed a deal with BT the channel essentially lost all it’s funding and it barely shows anything now.

That's frustrating. ESPN seemed to stream alot of Warren's stuff as well as some of the MTK cards on their app. Now it's hit or miss. I don't think the Boxxer cards are available thru any of the content providers over here either.

Yeah Bob and Frank have a good working relationship. The MTK cards are actually streamed free on YouTube over here.

Boxxer are in their infancy but with Sky’s backing they’ll inevitably be running the boxing scene over here very soon. I’ve been very happy with their stuff so far, fights like Eubank-Williams and Taylor-Catterall would have likely been PPV under the Sky/Matchroom regime, hopefully it continues but I have my doubts.
