And what does a Lopez have for him? He couldn't even beat Kambosos, who Josh would destroy.

It's so funny how butt hurt and bitter you are at another man's success.
This meaningless mandatory was not even necessary, Josh Taylor mislead the fans declaring that he would move-up to fight Terence Crawford but he chickened-out. I dont want to hear anything about promising Jack Catterall a favor for stepping aside for a undisputed clash with Jose Ramirez. In truth, if the 'Tart-Tomato' wanted to repay Jack, he should of vacated and almost guarantee 'El Gato' at least the WBO 147 title.

Teofimo Lopez was last ranked in the top five P4P, no other opponent that Taylor has ever faced reached such heights. The general public would approve of the 'Takeover' as a worthy challenge, but it looks like Taylor is ducking every threat this year ; I doubt we see him in any big-fight in 2022.

Give Teofimo Lopez a fight or piss-off!
Teo just lost his undisputed crown at 135lbs and his reward should be to fight for the 140lb crown? You wont hear from Teo till 2023 or at least he wont go near anyone with a pulse in 2022

I can't see him taking a non title fight. I'd like to see him stay @ light-welter for 2022 & maybe fight Zepeda in the Autumn before moving up to 147 next year.

Even with a loss to George Kamobosis, Teofimo is more capable than Jack Catterall, even with a collapse lung from asthma. I hope you are wrong, I really miss Teofimo Lopez, we know that he will be missed more than Josh Taylor, the numbers on the boxingscene do not lie. In spite becoming jr. welterweight 'undisputed' champion, the public have expressed little interest in Taylor's defense against Jack Catterall.

But when the 'Takeover' returns, the attention and response will be enormous. If Josh takes 2022 off, nobody will notice.

Haha, nice trolling. Josh has cleaned out the division in 18 fights. Crawfords 18th fight was against Hardy Paredes who had a 15-10 record In fact Crawford doesn’t have a better win than Josh and he’s nearly in his mid 30’s. Thats sad.

Jesus, people are slating the Brook-Khan fight for being a decade too late, Crawford has fought them both in his last 4 fights

Lopez just got dropped and legit beaten by a nobody, and you think he deserves to move up and fight for undisputed? Why didn’t he rematch Loma? Because he knew he wouldn’t win again, he ran like the wind from that fight then got beaten by someone far worse than Loma anyway He needs to get in line and build himself up again.

Face it, Josh has legit beaten everyone in his division, something Crawford and Lopez have never done. Catterall has earned his shot.

'Chon' Zepeda will put his boot up Josh Taylor's ass, and leave him like a human pretzel like Ivan Baranchyk. But I dont understand why Josh would fight Jose Zepeda that has never won a world-title nor has a fanbase, but refuses to face Teofimo Lopez?

Peter, why did you not enter BoxingIsGreat's thread to congratulate me for winning the prestigious Boxingscene Poster of the year award? I was hurt by your absence, I thought our friendship meant something.

In spite your rudeness, I'm pretty sure than I am a fan of the #1. P4P TBC, Naoya Inoue and Oleksandr Usyk. But I cant support drug cheats.

Terence Crawford was shot in his head early in his career and needed to take it slow. You mentioned Amir Khan and Kell Brook being TBC's last opponents, but let me ask you this : does Josh Taylor dominate both Amir 'King' Khan and 'Special' Kell Brook at 147? I doubt that the 'Tart-Tomato' outboxes Khan or eats them chocolate-brownies.

Taylor is nothing like a real P4P talent that can compete with bigger opponents, like the #1. P4P Terence 'Bud' Crawford.

I actually agree with you but Josh Taylor will beat Teo up. Teo doesnt have the stamina or the brains to compete with him. Baring his delusion after he suffered his loss to Kombosos i like Teo. It was much more competitive than people give him credit for but he definitely didnt win 10 -2 like he claims. Personally i had it 7-5 KOMBOSOS but 6-6 wouldn't have been a robbery considering he was the champion and the rounds were nip and tuck
