Yes, these factors are definitely a concern with Spence. Also how lucky Ng can he keep boiling down to 147 without it seriously affecting his performance?

I think Ugas is a little underrated and, on top of the other factors mentioned, will prove more problematic than a lot of people are anticipating.

Beyond this fight, I see Spence moving up to 154.

Pre accident/surgeries - favored Spence over Crawford. Now favor Crawford. Needs to happen in 2022

Best case scenario is Ugas winning. He wouldn't be chicken to fight Crawford. All Spence has is excuses.

Spence has his daddy Al to thank for saving him from getting beat tf up by Crawford. We all know damn well Haymon paid off the wba and gilbertico to make this fight happen. Ugas was ordered to be in that tournament then all of a sudden this happens.

I know the one we all want is Crawford v Spence but it just ain't happening yet or ever but either way would we really want it next with this being Spence returning from an injury lay off? You know what excuses we'd hear if Crawford beat him
I agree. I even think Ugas is a big step for Spence coming off that really long lay off and very significant eye injury. Either way, we definitely need to see Spence prove he still has what it takes to compete at that level and something, maybe it's the drinking, maybe the weight draining, maybe the eye injury, but something tells me that he's not the same fighter he used to be 2 years ago.

If Crawford wasn’t so delusional and accepted he’s a big B side to Spence he could get that fight.
If he thinks he’s that good then do what it takes to get Spence in the ring, eat his ass then call his own shots for whatever is left of his prime.
Since we know that Crawford thinks he’s a big PPV draw despite terrible buys then he’ll continue to cry about not getting his shot.
Spence is doing the right thing. Don’t let chasing one guy dictate your career. If it wasn’t for injury he would have beaten Pacquiao so the next best thing is collecting his title off of Ugas.

Ugas might be catching Spence at the right time. Long layoff with injuries and uncertain habits while not fighting are all agains Spence. Ugas is very sharp and having good reflexes is a must against him.

No no no no no no. Regardless of anything Crawford has said or demanded this fight has NEVER been a consideration on Spence part. I hold out hope that he is just saving the toughest belt till last and we will see it if he overcomes Ugas but to date Spence has made it VERY clear that a Crawford fight has not been on the cards.

Spence had a past of partying but after the accident he's constantly in the gym and with his family now it's well documented. He's back with his old strength and conditioning coach and he now has a nutritionist. Nothing is but your hate for PBC is telling you that.
You guys are so anti-pbc it's a borderline disease, you want the world to praise Nelo, Fury, Loma, Usyk, and Josh Taylor but Tank, Haney(DAZN/Free agent), Andrade, Spence, Wilder, Shakur(Top Rank), Gary Russell are flawed somewhere regardless of what they accomplish.

                      It's so blatant it's repulsive.
