"The life"...? What is that a *******? Who fights for "the life"? Can I spend it at Amazon? Ennis didn't fight Dolorme for "the Life" he fought and beat a name for recognition and future money. Ennis doesn't fight for "the life" because if he did, he'd go after Ortiz but he doesn't. Why? Because there is nothing to gain.

I'm sorry but in the real world nobody fights for "the life". Obviously Ennis has nothing to bring to the table for either Crawford or Spence....no belts and with no money the fight doesn't make cents. Spence and Crawford both wanted Ugas because he's beatable and more importantly he has belts that will help negotiate for more future money. Crawford would be smart to make a deal with "10 million dollar" Keith Thurman because at least there is some money. Money that Crawford and Keith can actually SPEND on "their life" because that's what it's all about.

Last I checked nobody on the entire PBC roster were willing to fight for "the life", not even Ennis

I genuinely feel like this is why the fight is being made. As a way to attempt to price himself out of a Crawford fight. It’s a shame.

Since we know that Crawford thinks he’s a big PPV draw despite terrible buys then he’ll continue to cry about not getting his shot.
Spence is doing the right thing. Don’t let chasing one guy dictate your career. If it wasn’t for injury he would have beaten Pacquiao so the next best thing is collecting his title off of Ugas.
What did team Spence offer Crawford then?

It's not a bad fight but if Spence were to beat Ugas as expected, then a fight with Crawford becomes even less likely.

Why? Because Spence and Al Haymon and co. will make sure that Crawford doesnt get near a 50/50 offer, more like 80/20 or 70/30.

Has Spence started sparring yet? I think back to that video of the leaked sparring video of him getting touched up and then the news of the retinal tear shortly after. I want to see how he's seeing punches post surgery before making a decision. Ugas is not an easy out.

You might be right but at this point , Bud should take the fight even if he is getting lowballed imo
I think and always thought Bud can beat Spence and that is why this fight has been to long in the making
Once he beats him , he can return the favour by lowballing Spence and even keep him on the shelve for awhile

At this point in Bud’s career , he needs to make the most of this opportunity
I’m also convinced Spence ain’t no where close to the fighter he once was

                  Overrated and a ducker..
also got his ass beaten by a sparring partner who isnt fighting at his best coz hes imitating a midget's unique style..

Dunno how ppl still think this clown spence, who could be broken now, if his bs "eye injury" is even real, is rated above crawford..

According to Bozy Ennis, Jaron's Father, Ortiz's Father told Bozy in 2020, that they'll be ready in "2-3 years!" Ennis is "about that life!" The Kid is a gym rat, always ready for that work! I understand Crawford wanting that money, and I understand Spence's fear, but Boots is here! He's only going to get better! If Crawford wants that respect as "The Man" in the U.S., not Tank, not Shakur, not The Charlo Bros., not Errol, this is the fight! If Crawford just wants to prove he could beat Porter, Thurman, and Spence, he can do that too, but he still might not get that respect like Ali, Mayweather, SRL, and Tyson! To me Bud is sadly, on par with Sweet Pea and Roy Jones Jr.! Beating Boots would definitely take him to that next level! Mayweather vs. Canelo 2.0, but maybe a different ending?
