No. Unfortunately the expiration date on Ortiz as a boxer has passed.

Everyone saying Ortiz' legs are gone, that he looked like crap. Some of that might be age but how much is due to a 2 year lay-off? ......... you can't count a 1 round blow-out ko as meaningful activity.

That jab caught Ortiz coming in. You might say it was perfectly timed, but I think luck had a little more to do with it. In any event, his footing wasn't solid, and getting hit on the button coming forward like that with the weight of a big man can make for a flash KD. Ortiz wasn't hurt, and he got up a bit embarrassed. The first KD was a hit from behind the head, and it kind of dragged him down with the follow through. He is 42, maybe older, and he's not done yet obviously, which is admirable. I hope he gets to retire with enough money to be comfortable because he deserves it.

I don't expect much at his age but I hope for a few good fights in his limited time.

This version of King Kong still absolutely annihilates scared, nervous AJ, which is why he's so blatantly ducked him his whole career.

Even when he's past 50, Ortiz can always make easy money beating up on mma bums on triller.

                  Age is far more likely

At 42 he's closing in on a decade past his physical prime, he's at the age now where you can expect him to look worse in every fight, even the klitschkos who were a lot more athletic and lived the life far more than Ortiz were done at the age he is now.

He's an old man, his knees don't work and he's getting dropped off jabs, it's over, I don't understand why some people can't accept it lol.

A true factor, not. But he can still give us entertaining fights providing he understands his level. He should avoid all young prospects and new fresh contenders. Guys like Arreola/Kownacki/Helenius, that is his level. He can also cash out against Ruiz, he will lose this one, but it would be his last big pay day.
