Cotto shouldnt have called Hatton overrated...imo

Fellas, I find it very unusual for Cotto to be making negative comments about his upcoming opponent or other boxers. This is something that he has not done previously. My guess is he's been asked to sell this fight more than any other. Money just not flowing like it used to! Maybe he's been asked to play the villain?

First of all Cotto ain't even that good. He's been put on ***** street in just about every fight he ever had. Plus he got KTFO just as bad as Hatton so he should STFU.

Yet in every fight but one he's managed to come back and win. This is boxing man, everyone gets hit and those hits hurt and sometimes they knock you silly. What makes a fighter great isn't necessarily how he avoids punishments or dishes it out, its also how you come back from adversity. Marquez was knockdown more in two fights than Cotto in his entire career, yet he is widely considered the better boxer, partly because he was able to come back after those knockdowns.

And no, Cotto wasn't not KTFO like Hatton. He got the **** beat out of him, possibly with loaded gloves against a far bigger man and his corner threw in the towel, he wasn't KO'd. Hatton got knocked out by the "smaller man" with one punch, and he also got KO'd by PBF. And while I won't say that because of those two loses Hatton is overrated, I feel he is because he's struggled with lesser competition than Cotto has.

This is the fight game, and words from a fighter’s opposition shouldn’t mean anything once they get in the ring. The only ones making an issue out of this are message boarders claiming they understand the reasoning behind the so called “trash talk.” If Pac spoke dirt I could care less as long as he backed it up when he got in the ring which I’m sure he and Cotto will do. So, ONCE AGAIN let it rest.
