No disrespect but you (and many others for that matter) are blowing this way out of proportion. Fighters historically do this to not to so much discredit their opponents accomplishments but to give themselves a mental edge. Cotto has been nothing but hated on since his lost to Margarito and to have so many media figures and even boxing heads like ourselves right him off the way we did caused him to just be vocal in a way we never seen him do. Call it venting, call it anger or however you wish to interpret it he’s just making his statement he will not fold in 2 rounds ala Hatton.

          Peace.

I like Ricky Hatton, don't get me wrong. I've rooted for him in many a fight, and fid him a pretty decent fighter, and Cotto calling him overrated isn't really a big deal, and I'm sure he's not directing it directly at Ricky. I see people taking this way out of proportion and way out of context. Lol, Hatton's don his thing, and definitely so has Cotto. Oh, and to those idiots that keep saying "he quit", no, he didn't. he took a knee, which is something that many boxers do to signal distress..Demarcus Corely took a knee with Cotto, and the fight was stopped. Cotto's corner stopped the fight, so nuff said.
