I agree with Froch, PHYSICALLY Joshua is quite capable of winning this fight, after the first fight in which he barely threw anything with spite, Usyk was pretty badly marked up, even Pit pat shots from Joshua did significant facial damage. I still don't belive he would stand up to a full power combination from Joshua.

But the issue is mental, he has lost all faith in himself, he reacts very badly to ANY shot now, where in the past he tanked shots from Whyte, klitschko and other hard punchers and didn't have too many issues. Vs Usyk he was hesitent, he never ONCE pressured Usyk, he should have been pressuring, crashing into him constantly, making Usyk feel his weight, instead he stood off and boxed from the opening bell.

He reminds me of Lucian Bute after the Froch loss actually, where he just totally lost faith in himself.

Usyk is what he is, he's a masterful technical boxer, but there are ways to beat masterful technical boxers and that is to make your size an issue, make the fight messy, blast them out, the way you LOSE to them is to stand center of the ring and have a technical boxing match.

I don't see Joshua winning the rematch, but I hesitate to say I'd be "surprised" if he did, I don't know what's going on in his head.

Hearn has an industrial tanker full of snake oil, that's one thing for sure.

lol. If Joshua had what it takes he would have blown Ruiz out in the rematch. Ruiz was fatter than the fattest in the rematch. If Joshua was really good he would have taken Ruiz out in the first fight or is Ruiz that good? Ruiz knew exactly what to do in the first fight to finish it. Why didn't Joshua?

If Joshua was really good he would have adapted to the style Usyk used and turned it on. He did do that in the middle rounds and Usyk held his own. What most of you don't get is that fighters are individuals with limits. Joshua lacks stamina and Ruiz took most of his heart. Usyk has a piece too. When a fighter is tired they only have their heart. Joshua quit in the Ruiz fight standing in the corner with his hands on the ropes. In the Usyk fight he was on his stool after the fight and he probably would not have come out if there was another round.

Joshua needs to walk away from the rematch and fight Wilder. A win over Usyk does nothing because he hasn't fought Fury. If he can beat Wilder that gives him status and confidence. A win over Usyk will not do anything for him unless it is impressive like when Ruiz got off the canvas and battered Joshua. I would never pick Joshua over Usyk in a dog fight though.

All these excuses for Joshua. He should have been more cautious in the first Ruiz fight and he would have been okay... That is why he lost... He wasn't aggressive enough in the Usyk fight and that is why he lost... blah blah blah
