You could see his disinterest from his unwillingness to show up to the press conferences and his reluctance to do media work, especially without his brother and father there.
The thing about narcissists is that they often have enablers, who often benefit from their attention seeking. If Tommy was serious he could have easily escaped the spectre of Furys fame and took this fight seriously, he's still a famous reality TV star. But HE ultimately was the one who failed to turn up 2 weeks before a fight.
