Thurman against anybody at 147 would be a good fight in 2019 -2020, but not now.

He fights 140 guy next, coming from a loss to a lightweight and that tells you everything you need to know. I would prefer to see champs fighting each other or new guys like Ortiz jr., Ennis..

Is he looking past Barrios? That could be a mistake. He will be up for it.

I remember the Porter fight. Man, I thought that was such a great fight, all action and fought at the highest skill level. Two top guys in their prime giving it 100%.
But that was over 5 years ago. Keith's on the wrong side of 30 and injuries and success have taken their toll.
Boxing is a young man's game or at least you have to stay hungry. At this point in time, I think "One Time" just likes the sound of his voice too much.

He was well beaten by Pacquiao, knocked down and hurt. Not too interested to see Thurman on action, but would watch him against a champion or Ortiz jr and Ennis.

I don't think Thurman would win any of those fights, but I do think the can be competitive.

Ppl diss Thurman because he'a all injured up but when he was on point and Floyd was active, Fliyd ducked him much the same way as Canelo ducks Benavidez. Thurman was always calling him out and Floyd picked and chose dudes like Guerrero and Berto. Dudes that can't beat Thurman.

100% facts and isn't it ironic the same Floyd and his fans saying Canelo is ducking Benavidez when he clearly perfected that formula as you nicely stated and even worse he won't even put Tank (guy clearly in his prime) in with anybody with a pulse.

And while you think Keith is delusional he'll probably get a shot. I think he should have another fight after Barrios (assuming he comes out with the W) before looking to fight for a belt. Not having another fight after Lopez and before Pacquiao after that previous long layoff is what caused him to lose to PacMan imo. Of course, the fight wasn't going to be there if he didn't grab it when he did.
I think the difference was Ugas, pacquio threw over 800 punches, and never stop trying, the bodywork of Ugas did a job on him, that was the main thing. Nobody gave him a chance, Ugas, and he proved everyone wrong. Be safe.

Must be some of that keef lol
I would believe some of the bullchit he’s saying if it were a few years before but now , nahhhhhhh
One Time is all keefed out
Casual fans are all about popularity, when Pacman got knocked out in his prime was he washed up? How about the great Duran when he lost/quit or Sugar Ray Robinson when he lost, or Ali when he lost to Frazier or Norton? Not putting (Keef) on their level but he only have one lost to a great fighter by decision. I would say he deserves a shot at the top tier fighters due to his record and status before the one loss to a great fighter. CASUALS don't seem to understand its about talent, matchups and experience true fans want to see and not about who we personally like
