The fight was in March and they had a crowd I believe. The first fight was last August during lockdown. Fury would NOT have made 1 million. He had a 25 million contracted guarantee for the Wilder trilogy no matter when it took place.
If Whyte made more for the Povetkin rematch, he will have to present evidence to the WBC at arbitration - a catch-22 because that means he lied to them about what he made to get lower sanctioning fees on his purses - which may open him up to bigger issues.
You keep confusing the WBC split with contract negotiations. The WBC split refers to purse bid - not private negotiations over PPV, merch, etc. Once again, if Arum wins the purse bid, he is only obligated to give Whyte his percentage of the purse bid amount - nothing more. This is why most big fights never go to purse bid when a PPV is involved.
Fury has NEVER 15m in a fight in his career. 25m is a stretchhhhhh. All the bogus numbers Fury and Wilder always throw out there is basically for negotiations in case they fight AJ.
But what we know is that (correcting the numbers I posted earlier after checking official numbers):
Fury vs Wilder 1 - official purse split, Fury made $3
Fury vs Wilder 2 - official purse split, Fury made $5
Fury vs Wilder 3 - official purse split, Fury made $6
Fury in his career has NEVER been guaranteed $10m for a fight. You pulled the $25m out of yer arse, lol.
Whyte before lockdown was declaring similar figures. Fights during lockdown are inconsequential and even AJ didn’t make half of his usual guaranteed purse during lockdown against Pulev.Comment

He’s flushing money down by making a far less lucrative which will lose money ,far more then a few more million to Whyte should he fight Helenius, ESPN and Arum take a huge hit if they go that route so anything else is a blatant excuse not to negotiate and be realistic .

A fight with Andy Ruiz would sell very well in the US and it's a favorable style matchup for Fury.Comment

Instead of making up excuses why he shouldnt fight tougher fights like Whyte and Joyce how about you start asking why he’s not and actually be a boxing fan not a troll ?Comment

Without a purse bid looming, the challenger has very little bargaining tools. There’s no bid being ordered anytime soon due to the open litigation. Whyte should counter with 6.5-7 mil, which was roughly what Ruiz got for the first Joshua fight.Comment

What crowd in a tiny Island? If things were open - the fight would’ve been in the U.K. The fact that the fight was in a different country tells you all you need to know.
