This is a free forum like a free country. I am allowed to come out and say which fighters I like and don't like. Cotto is overrated in my opinion because he only has the ability to fight in one weight class. He can't move up to 154 because he is limited like Margarito is. James Kirkland would've tore Cotto's ass out the frame and Paul Williams would too if Cotto grew the balls to fight him. I don't like Floyd one bit, but I think he would stop Cotto late or win a wide decision over him. Cotto knows that he will eventually outgrow 147 and this is why you hear this retirement talk come out of his mouth. I even think a healthy Angulo would stand a good chance of beating Cotto.

You Cotto stans complain and ***** about Paul Williams supposedly picking on little guys, but he is taking on the Middleweight champ because he has got the ability to move up unlike the Boricua punching bag. I doubt Cotto can even get past little Pacquiao. I think Pacquiao is a great fighter, but I don't think Cotto views him as a threat compared to the other opponents I mentioned because of their size. It all goes back to the point of Cotto's limitations as a fighter. He has to fight smaller guys because he doesn't have the skills or balls to move up in weight divisions and be effective like JMM, Paul Williams, and Manny Pacquiao.

Cotto wouldn't have even fought Clottey if HBO didn't force him to. Him and Arum wanted to go after Cintron. Cintron was considered the bigger fighter, but he had no credibility because he had just gotten KOd by Martinez and went on to get a gift draw. And yet Cotto still wanted to fight him. I mentioned that Angulo could be a threat to Cotto if he was healthy and I stand by that. He wasn't at his best when he fought Cintron and I don't know if Cotto could handle his pressure or not.

If you really knew about boxing you would stop claiming to know the sport simply because you box.
There are many trainers that never fought yet they are the best trainers and truly know the sport.
With that there are many boxers who know nothing about its history or even other fighters.

Wrong again, Cotto fought whoever his promotional company put in front of him. Be it Jennings, Clottey or Cintron. Since when did Cotto ever express his feelings fighting anyone much less calling out Kermit? Can you show me one article in where “Cotto” himself not his promotional company expressed any interest in fighting Cintron? Mind you, Clottey was WBO mandatory for Cotto if he didn’t face him he would’ve been stripped therefore it wasn’t HBO that forced fight but rather the sanctioning bodies.
